If you want to be in control of your house's temperature, don't buy this. It totally makes all your heating and cooling decisions for you. It totally drives me crazy. You set a temperature, and then eco mode overrides you and changes it.

It's either used or Nest makes a lousy product.
Would Not RecommendSo far it doesn't hold a charge and it keeps shutting off. I'm pretty sure the one that I got was returned by someone else and Lowe's just passed it off as new. The box was taped closed with cellophane and there were fingerprints all over the face of the Nest on the inside. Doesn't speak highly for Nest or for Lowe's and their curbside pickup. Unexpected Drawback Experience
Nest Learning was not easily and quickly connected with WiFi and phone app. The thermostat is not sensitive to turn on cooling when temperature is above set degrees. Once cooling is on, it takes a while (over 10 minutes) to cool 1 degree. After setup, phone app works fine to manage Nest anywhere.
