Exceeded Expectation

We LOVE Nest Hello--I expected it to be a fantastic and helpful device and it really is. The quality and coverage is truly impressive and the integration with alerts, etc. with the Nest/Home app makes it the best camera device we have (we have Nest outdoor cameras and they are good, but I think Hello is a better device).

Technology to make life easier and safer

A relatively inexpensive tool to provide security. I am enjoying my nest. My only criticism is I can't see the porch surface where someone would put a package.

Doorbell

My nest doorbell is not let it me see the previous recoding and when it send a notification only shows a picture not a video from where stared recoding. I have an outdoor IQ cam and it works perfectly fine It shows a video of what it hears, movement and everything else I thought that the doorbell it was going to have the same futures. I am very disappointed with the doorbell. Plus I have the nest protect I should kept my ring doorbell.

Great AI, just trying to configure old door bell, and old is 1970. So I might need a new inside ringer- I time. But this is good

Works very well. Replaced a skybell that didn't. Straight forward installation. Great picture and app. Picked due to its ruggedness and potential for integration with other devices.

Easy install and setup. Works well although the motion detection is a little on the sensitive side the person detection is spot on.

Stopped working after 2 days

My u it stopped working after 2 days after being professionally installed, contacted install told me to contact google since it’s their product, and google said I’m outta of luck.

The mighty doorbell

This doorbell was a breeze to replace. Due the age of our home we needed the power supply, however I was able to attach that to the doorbell lines that existed, removed the transformer and chime and poof it works like a champ! Since we have nest minis in the house it rings on those for me and our nest home hub shows me right away. All in all its a great integrated setup making it easy to use and work with in an old home.

This has been super helpful for my business. Now i know who is coming and get notified if a package has been delivered. recommend it for everyone

Delaminating after 1.5 years Old

I purchased this Google door bell based on its good reviews. It's working as expected. The reason for the poor review is its quality of materials and construction. It's a year and a half old and the face of it is delaminating very badly. I called Google for help and the CSR told me, “it's out of warranty and to go buy a new one" I'm writing this to inform potential purchasers to not to waste your monies on this piece of junk. Great video very clear easy to operate biggest problem is the way you program the schedule seems way too complicated could be a lot easier

Doorbell was great, App not so much

Got the doorbell and it worked fine. However, the app would only give me push notifications if the person was Infront of my door. A person could even stand in my front yard and I'd never know. After spending hours on the phone running tests with the very nice customer support people. And then waiting two days for the engineering department to give me other things to try I decided to return it and get an Arlo doorbell. Essential for any home.

Nest Hello is great. Knowing whose at the door is important to me. Since I and other members of the household use both front and back doors, I installed 2 Nest Hello doorbells.

Quite Disappointing So Far

It’s difficult or impossible (still working on it) to make the existing doorbell chimes ring with the Nest Hello; and there is no option to install a set of wireless chimes. Controlling the sounds/motions to which the camera responds is quite challenging. Wish I did not have so much invested in the Google/Nest infrastructure.

Does not Disappoint!

Wanted a quality wired system to avoid the hassle of replacing batteries. I'm already a Nest fan due to my love for the Nest Security system, so the Nest Hello Doorbell was an attractive option.
