Face plate is peeling and stopped working

I actually thought, my doorbell face was dropped and that was the reason the face plate is cracking and looks terrible with my new front door. But I have just read many reviews and have realized it is a faulty product. It's too bad, because I have the hub and wifi system in my home and love how they all work together. Now I am researching what other doorbells work with google.
