Do not like anything about the Nest Thermostat. Not easy to install, C wire issues, no battery life. The functionality of the thermostat is terrible. The touch bar on the side is a poor design and tough to use

Google Nest

Install was easy and so was the app setup. I’ve been able to connect to both, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Since I have a mix of devices in my home, this is incredibly convenient.

Wish there's a way to turn off the self-learning feature. Thee home app is primitive at best

Simple and Beautiful

This is honestly the most beautiful and simple thermostat I have ever seen or used! Most of the time I don't like to look at or change any settings on thermostats because they're designed poorly and I am always confused at what is happening when I try to turn up or down the temperature. Constant errors

Was told this work would for my system. It doesn’t not. I need a thermostat for a heat only system. Was told this is the one that would work. It worked for maybe 12 hours. Then shut itself down. Constant error messages, says it is not connected to power, electrician confirmed it is. HVAC guy also came out and x can’t figure out the problem.

Almost A Good Thermostat

I had a Nest Learning thermostat. It died after about 6 or 7 years. I do not need the "learning" mode so I went with a cheaper Nest thermostat...big mistake. I really need the Wi-Fi remote adjustable feature. This thermostat would not stay connected more than two days in a row!The programming mode is crazy. You can not simply set a temperature for a certain time of the day. You must set a range. For example, I like to set the heat or AC to 72° at night. You cannot do this. You must set a range l...

Best thermostat

My life has been simplified, this product has made my home easier to monitor and my kids who are used to haptics to control their iPads/Android tablets so it was very easy

Had to have an electrician come and install a C wire. Pain in the neck and expensive

A downgrade from the original nest

Mechanically this is much more difficult to use than the old nest. The same goes for programming. For some unknown reason it changes the air conditioning to 85° several times a day without prompting.It goes into Eco mode even though I have it disabled.Very disappointing

Easy to install if you have the right wiring. You need 4 or 5 wires to control heat and a/c.

After changing wires twice, the Nest is working perfectly. The second technician knew to check my A/C unit for a heat pump.

Mostly works like they should.One time I had to do a reset from the thermostat system settings, because they lost the connection to nest server (wifi part was okay)...

It's a good thermostat but seems hard to set

I like it but it's hard to update the different setting for set tempuratures.
