Would RecommendI have to say Google TV does everything I'd want and more. It accommodates almost all internet / streaming services. It would be cool if it was capable of including the over the air broadcast channels (which are free) into Google TV as well. I assume this requires an extra antenna. But I'm not complaining, there is more than enough to pick from and choose to watch.

The Chromecast is now usefull
Would RecommendLove the function, I never got the chromecast when it was just a screen mirror. This one is Android TV even better, the apps have worked very well. It only looses 1 star for, with all it does, the app data storage is limited.

Consistent connection issues

Works well on two of three TVs
Would RecommendWe like our Chromecast with Google TV, and it works well, for the most part. However, on our main TV, a Samsung, the remote just wouldn't stay paired with the TV. We finally just went back to the remote that came with the TV. That's disappointing that one remote is just sitting in a drawer. The other two TVs are older and everything works great.

Would RecommendThis is my second one. Like every interface, you have to get used to it, but it is easy to search and easy to learn. And since we learned it, it made sense to have both our TVs use the same interface.

Bad hardware, amazing software
Would RecommendI love the UI and it's pretty much idiot proof to set up. When you factory reset, the Google interface auto pulls from your Gmail which is great. Unfortunately the remotes are a pain. Randomly disconnects. Randomly freezes. I've gone through 2 remotes so far and I ordered 2 more when we were having so many issues as a back up. Fix the remote issues where they freeze up.
