Poor hardware
Would Not RecommendThe YouTube TV service is very good. The Chromecast hardware is not good at all. YouTube TV works much better on our Roku. The Chromecast hardware must be underpowered. It is sluggish and slow. The remote is flimsy and not pleasing to operate.If Google fixes the hardware, this could be a great way to fully leverage the best of what YouTube TV can offer.

Doesn't work with LG-C1 Denon receiver
Would Not RecommendI have a setup where I control everything through my Denon Atmos receiver, unfortunately Google TV only broadcasts in non HDR mode and just stereo.Other than casting from my phone it's useless to me.

Would RecommendEasy to install. Casting is reliable. However, the power supply could be sourced from the TV obviating the need for yet another cable. The current power cable is too short. It would be nice if the device would pair with the TV remote to reduce the pile of remotes.

Power to play Stadia
Would RecommendLove it, it has enough power to play emulators for retro games. Despite being unclear about it's Stadia potential, it plays Stadia just fine! I recommend getting a powered USB-C OTG Hub or dongle for more storage, ethernet and USB accessories like keyboard, mouse, Flash Memory, external storage.

Would Not RecommendWe have been using Chromecast with Google TV in several rooms now since the rollout. So far we all love the ease of use and the options of what we may view. It all works seamlessly once you are past the easy installation. A few things that we would like to see is the ability to switch between users before getting to other apps. Also the remote can easily slip from our hands due to the surface being slippery and small.

There are ads when you open apps that normally have none
Would Not RecommendUI is not slow and it's good value for how not slow it is. But, there were adds before opening Hulu, and I pay for no add Hulu. Happens on a few other apps as well. I didn't buy this device, buy a premium streaming service, just to pay for adds.

All that you need for your streaming apps
Would RecommendFirst, the price is inexpensive for a whole lot of utility! The interface is simple yet informative. if you have many apps, the main screen searches through your streaming apps all t once. No need to check each service to see what a particular movie is playing. Everything is integrated. Everything is easy and is a must have for every TV watcher out there!

The Best of the Best
Would RecommendGoogle Chromecast blows Amazon Fire Stick out of the water! Hands down the best streaming device on the market. Switching between apps is seamless and the user interface is easy to navigate. The remote is a modern white design with a black button for Google Assistant. My only complaint is the Netflix and YouTube buttons on the remote really aren't necessary; making them programmable buttons would be better instead.

Super fast Wifi throughout my home.
Would RecommendGoogle owns YouTube, YouTube TV is what I use now, simply by Google forcing the upgrade and taking away TV. The savings are noticeable in deed. YouTube TV is the best App so far, as they easily stream my local channels. However, I wish the information side of shows was easy to use. I wish they would add if a show is new or old. I haven't used it much, it does stream flawlessly.

The best of both worlds
Would RecommendThis has the convenience of an xfinity flex or smart tv, mixed with the freedom of a chromecast/fire tv/roku. (You can sign into any app without being pushed to purchase a subscription through Google, unlike Apple TV or xfinity, who only support some apps when you subscribe through them.) My fave part—it includes YouTube in my continue watching section! No other device has done that for me yet. I’ve had a 1st gen chromecast in the past and loved it, but I’m a big fan of what Google TV adds now.
