Great device but falls short on some aspects
Would RecommendI like my Chromecast with Google TV but there are some aspects that are annoying. They aren't dealbreakers but I would hope these could be improved in future versions.I really like having a remote because it completely replaced my regular TV remote for most of what I want to do. It can turn the TV on, control the sound, change the TV source. That said, the ergonomy of the remote isn't the best. The volume buttons are on the side, and since the remote itself is small, I end up changing the volume...

Would RecommendThe Google Chromecast is the simple epitome of awesome! There is a built-in grace and elegance to its use. The intuitive design and tactile controls leave you with the fortitude of knowledge. Inherent with a great design. There is nothing to learn because you simply already know how to use it. Plug it in. Sync it with your devices at home and that's all there is to it. After that, you simply get in the driver seat and take off into the fun times, also known as Google Chromecast!

Best TV stick
Would RecommendThis is my second Google TV and the product is much better than the other TV sticks (Roku and Fire TV) and I am using them in different TVs.I find 4K is best with Google TV. The navigation is less Cluttered. Only issue I had is to program both Sound Bar and TV to the remove. It does not seem to retain the settings for the sound bar unlike Fire TV. Other than that the quality is better with less gitter compared to Fire TV Stick.

Would RecommendI have used a few other similar devices, such as Roku and FireTV, and I think this latest Chromecast version, that adds Google TV, performs the best. If I were to suggest improvements, I'd list a larger storage capacity (for folks with too many apps) and a larger variety of apps (but that depends on content providers too).

Good not as seemless
Would RecommendThis Chromecast does everything better than the old one except streaming from our phones it always takes two attempts to load the app whether it's Netflix or Hulu or Vudu the old one worked the first time every time

Wifi Issues constantly
Would Not RecommendI really wanted to like the device, but constant wifi drops and the device turning off the wifi have left me frustrated. These are issues that I do not have with a 1st generation chromecast or any Amazon Fire TV devices that were placed in the same location.

New Chromecast
Would RecommendPicked up a new Chromecast for Christmas 2021. I love that with the click on one button, I can be on YouTube TV or Netflix without having to click and find them. It was simple to connect it to the television as well as our Google Home account. I also like that it comes in different colors. I ordered a different color for each room so I didn't mix up the remotes.

GREAT Streaming Device - Must Have!
Would RecommendWe started with one of these but were so impressed that we now have 3 in the house. They're incredibly easy to setup and use, and it's a great device for having all of your streaming services in one location. The added benefits of the Google Assistant only make it better. Highly recommend!

Best Streaming Device
Would RecommendIn my opinion, this is by far the best streaming device. I love how I'm able to see recommendations and my wish list from all of my streaming services in one place. I no longer have to switch in between apps to find what I want to watch. It also shows live content from your live TV streaming services, such as YouTube TV or Sling TV. The user interface is great as well.
