Love the product so much that I bought two! However...My second one came with a defective hose nossle that the company wants me to take videos of proving its defective which is an inconvenience. I just wanted them to send me a new nossle and id hapilly send the defective one back

Was tired of having to roll up my hose
Was tired of having to roll up my hose after every use and deal with kinks. Not until I got the Giraffe! This thing is a beast and makes watering the plants a breeze, literally cut out 10-15 minutes of hose maintenance before and after, this thing rocks! 11/10 highly recommended!

I installed the 5/8th 90 ft hose reel three days ago
I installed the 5/8th 90 ft hose reel three days ago so I can't speak to longevity yet but aside from that, I'm very happy with the unit. I mounted mine next to a fence post on a 4x6 teated post resting on a concrete pad. This let's the aluminum fence post anchored in concrete provide solid support with 2 5" deck screws from the front and 3 3 ½" deck screws through the back, holding the reel firmly in place. I've looked into hose reels years ago and they were nothing more than a box on the ground with a motor in them. My old hose real had a hand crank on the side and I hated dragging the hose out. Really loving the unit so far. The only comment I would make is, that I wish that the connector hose from the mains to the unit was a bit longer. I could not use the one provided and had to purchase a longer hose.

Needed to install a lighter hose option for my mother
Needed to install a lighter hose option for my mother-in-law. Easy to install however, I did upgrade my brackets as I didn’t have a stud or post option. Hose is lightweight when full. The retractable reel works without fail and is easy to use. When working I would recommend going to your furthest point and then work your way back retracting along the way. Perfect pressure for watering plants and flowers. Highly recommend this product if you are having to do daily watering.

Bought the 100’ model with 1/2” hose.
Bought the 100’ model with 1/2” hose. It’s a little tough to pull the hose from the case but other than that it comes with a nice nozzle and retracts well.

I used to go to the car wash down the road
I used to go to the car wash down the road because I was reluctant to pull the hose out and have the hassle of winding it back up when I was done. Not anymore! The giraffe works great! One little tug and just walk it back. It’s a simple as it sounds.

Very well constructed I went with 1/2” hose. Water pressure is not great. In hindsight I should gone 5/8s if they have one.
