Great Product

Have used 8500 for several years on brick pavers and it has been worthwhile in our humid tree shaded location.

Totally thrilled after being highly impressed! Went on with sprayer and broom. I was singing Lucy in the sky with diamonds, upon seeing the water beading from first rain after application!

What a great product. Easy to apply with no streaking. After it dried you could not tell it was ever applied. It is amazing how it sheds water. VERY PLEASED!!!!!

Water really beads up!

So far, this stuff seems to work great. We had a rain a few days later and I noticed a color difference between my sidewalk and the neighbor's sidewalk. His was darker in color (the water soaked into the concrete) and mine kept the same light gray concrete color and the water beaded up during the rain. Let's hope, over time, that the mildew doesn't come back and that it last for several years (10).

Great product ,did have to spray because older concrete

Had to spray because older concrete was a little more pores than new concrete

It does what it says it does.

My only complaint I have with the product is it takes days for the water to evaporate after it gets wet.

Chemical engineering at it's best

Have used several times on concrete, pavers, and roof tiles with excellent results, easy to apply with backpack sprayer (wouldn't recommend other methods) but definitely requires wet on wet application, but if done properly this siloxane formulation sheds water and stains very well for many years.

This stuff is incredible

It works incredibly well. The water did not get absorbed at all when we tested after 24 hours.

Works Great!!

The product was easy to apply with sprayer. It definitely repels the water for sure! I can’t wait to see how well it does this winter. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I thought it would cover more area. I bought two 1 gallon jugs thinking it would be enough. I ended up buying 4 more, so ended up with 6 gallons total. I used all of them. Plus the website said it would cover so much area but the container said another. I would say it covers about 200 to 250 sq feet. Overall, I am sat...

Easy application with pump sprayer

The hardest part was cleaning the floor before applying this! I used this in my pole barn with 6 month old concrete. I used a pump sprayer to apply it and it was very easy. I wish I had a soft push broom to smooth out the areas that pooled from the concrete not being perfect. I used my stiff broom a bit in the worst spots and otherwise left it. Third Time Purchased

After a year or so I notced that water doesn’t bead up nearly as much so I’m trusting that it is still effective for several more years. Over the last 5 years I have purchased at least 3 times both concentrated and ready to use, on new and old concrete. I even applied to the brick heart of gas fireplace as grandchiild proofing against spilled drink stains. It’s water-based and easy to apply with roller or sprayer

Beads up quick

Chose this product to prtoect my driveway against road salt from the upcoming winter. Product went on easy but it seems to go further with a pump srayer than a roller. Product has been on for 6 weeks and it is still visibly repelling rain water.

Appears to do what they claim, so far

I applied Siloxa Tek 8500 to my concrete driveway 2 weeks ago (using a pump-up sprayer - the easiest way, I think) and it has worked amazingly well. It has rained twice since then and it beads water like a newly wax automobile without being slippery! I just hope that it lasts for a long time given the price of this stuff.

I ordered this product after doing some homework & im so glad i did, it works great! It’s a little on the expensive side but it is so worth it, I highly recommend Ghost Shield to everyone! It has brought my rather dull looking concrete floor back to life! Thank so much.

easy to use.

This product was easy to apply with just a brush and roller. Covers easily due to it being a very thin product. Once dried, looks natual like it was mever sealed.
