Easy to apply and works exactly as advertised. I've recommended this to several friends.

Great product

Once I put 2 coats down and fully cure, it does what says. I was able to paint over ir and cannot see one water stain.

Waterproof

I would like to see longer visual results, meaning rain water beading the beading effects do not last long other than that it’s a good product, also I think it needs to be much thicker so when your applying on a vertical surface it stays longer and fights evaporation better during the application stage.

Great product

Sealer went on easily. Offers good waterproof protection. Should be great for winter to prevent salt damage.

Great Product

I’ve been using this for a number of years and am very pleased. My only issue is that it is rather expensive but then you get what you pay for and this stuff is truly great.

Easy to use

I was actually in the garage prepping to apply the Ghostshield when this email came. At this point there no way to review the effectiveness of the product, only that the application is not difficult. When I was perusing the website before selecting a product, I could have sworn that I read to mix the concentrate with distilled water. However, on the label on the bottle it just says “water”, so I just used regular tap water. Sure hope that doesn’t cause problems down the road.

Great product if prepared properly

Works well as advertised, if you do the prep work. A lot of pressure washing, etching, more pressure washing let everything dry, wait for the proper temperature and rain free days. Easy to apply and coverage is as stated on product label. Does dry and it sheds the water after a few days. Not a quick one and done local hardware product, but if you want to invest the time and money will give you great results. Time will tell if it will hold up as stated.

Siloxa tek 8500 👍

I have used this product several times since my new concrete driveway had been installed. I apply it myself. It’s easy to do with a roller and all I need is a few gallons of distilled water. I power wash first of course. I’m a 62 year old female and have had no problems doing it myself. The rain water then beads right off. It leaves no shine, film or discoloration which is great. I must admit that it is a process so I only do it every other year. I give the product 5 stars.

Pool side use

Excellent product. Previously used 8505 on new driveway 5 yrs ago. Still holding hope. Water beads right off.

Pool Deck Seal

I’ve worked with many concrete sealing products but this is by far the best I’ve seen. The application leaves no residue, does not affect the color or texture of the surface, cleans up easily, and is easy to apply. Water beads almost into balls on the surface, yet the deck isn’t the slightest bit slippery.

I just sprayed the 8500 on the concrete patio. Pray for rain in 24 hours to see the results. Easy to apply and simple to use. I have told many about Ghostshield.

So far so good

The application was easy using a sprayer. My pavers are over 10 years old and every year I have to power wash them to get rid of mold and moss, so it's exciting to see the water bead off the surface. Hopefully the product will live up to it's label and last 3-5 years. ;)

Best sealer we’ve ever used!

Siloxa-Tek 8500 is the best concrete sealer we have ever used on our stamped concrete pool deck. We have a saltwater pool, and have used other sealers over the years. But the Siloxa-Tek 8500 distinguished itself early-off when water from the pool just beaded-up on the surface. It went on easily with a garden sprayer and 18” paint roller (we used two to do the job faster), the coverage was as advertised for two coats. The real test will be to see how long it lasts. All other products we tried did...
