Very useful tool

This review is coming from a professional landscaper. I purchased this tool along with my new weed eater and I must say that this thing is a true muscle saver! Great simplification tool

My wife said the cordless jump start was a "nice to have". After struggling with pulling the cord many times to try and start our TroyBilt edger and Troybilt weed eater....this "nice to have" became a "why didn't we get this in the first place?" Makes life much easier! Holds a charge for a long time...only charged it once and use it every weekend.

Works with ease

Saw this along with the Troy Bilt Trimmer in Lowe's and caught my eye. Last couple years have had increasing shoulder and upper arm pain after pulling cords to start trimmer the next day after trimming. Have used it one full day since purchase and it works GREAT. This feature is a blessing for those of us getting older but still need to keep up with the lawn trimming. Great and it was free

The jumpstart is so you don't have to pull the cord on the Trimmer but, it is not cordless as the name implies. You have to plug it in. Having said this, I love not having to pull the cord. It is a quick way to start the trimmer. Wish they made them for the mower. Great product!

AWESOME

I thought this was a little like a gimmick. WOW I was wrong. I wish I would have had this years ago. Lines up with keyways on trimmer to hold it steady while in use. Trimmers have never started this easy.

Where was this twenty years ago? This thing is great. If you struggle starting your trimmer and it has the abIlity to utilize this, then you must get one. This thing is revolutionary.

Works Like It Should

This starter was bundled along free with my trimmer in a promotion. It works as suggested. The best part is that you can carry with you and use it anywhere since it is rechargeable. I find that I don't need to use it as I can start my trimmer easily by pulling the cord 5-6 times. If you find that starting your trimmer is difficult, buy this starter, you won't be disappointed.

Works, but not really needed

This thing works, but it isn't worth the price. Mine came free with the trimmer I purchased. I only used it once on my trimmer and once on my blower (just playing around). Haven't used it since. The Troy-Bilt trimmer and blower start easy enough with a few pulls of the string. Unless you have a physical condition that prevents you from pull-starting your equipment, then I guess this is a good thing. Otherwise, save your money (unless you can get it for free). Not Necessary!

The Cordless Jump Start Electric Start Adaptor is an additional piece of equipment to keep up with and deal with. I have not yet been able to make mine work properly. The String Trimmer starts fine on its own. The Cordless Adaptor does not work and it's difficult to keep track of----Don't buy it.
