Worst purchase ever.

Had to return item 3 times to get one that worked. NEVER buy it again

WOW $47 worth of JUNK

First one never worked. Lowes gladly refunded my money THANKS. Well I went from the serice desk back and bought another one. Worked great and started the weedeater pronto. Went to use today and guess what. Makes a howiing sound for a nano second and died. Stay away from this product.

I too purchased the cordless jump start this past May. I have used it a half a dozen times or so and then it started working on and off. It seems like the starter button might be damaged or flawed. I just called Troy Bilt customer servce tech support at 1-800-800-7310. And they were awesome. Tell them it is dead and they will ask for the model and ser# which is on the unit and they will replace it for free! They will also need the model and ser# of the trimmer you are using. Best product for reduction over kill on pull start

My son has demolished 4 Troy built drive units by yanking , and hard pulls on the units.

Does not work

Used for 3 starts, worked well...then died! Will return ASAP. My brother also purchased one of these and had to return it for a replacement twice, have not had one that consistently works yet. Great concept

this unit worked well when it worked

we had to return the first one.the unit worked once and quit the second time we used it.we returned it for a replacement and it has worked beautifully since.

Poor quality

Bought the Trimmer, and saw the Jumpstart, bought it took it home charged it, and when I wanted to use it, it would not even turn on. took it back to the store exchanged it for another one. Took it home charged it, pulled the trigger one time, and then it stopped working. Can not find my receipt this time so have been unable to take it back, to get my money back.

Free with purchase

This came "free" with purchase of TB22EC trimmer but only got to use this 2 times before my trimmer failed. The jump starter worked great but not worth the "free" with the cheap trimmer. I got what I paid for, low quality product. I wouldn't buy this brand again.

Good product

I found this product very easy to use. I have always had a lot of trouble starting gas trimmers until this product came out. Unfortunately I did not buy a very reliable trimmer to go with it.

I did not think much of the Troybuilt weedeater but I do like the battery powered starter. My new Troybuilt weedeater pull string would not engage the motor after only using it twice so I went to Lowes and bought this starter and it worked perfectly. I just hit the button and in less than two seconds the thing was running. It seems rugged enough and has plenty of torq. One of Troybuilts better ideas.

Died after one use!

It's too soon to report a long-term experience regarding its use. The first one died after one use. Lowe's replaced it. The second one worked but I haven't used it a second time, yet.
