Great product

You can easily get a moisture reading, however if you are checking the moisture between concrete slab and the carpet pading, don't push the unit hard against the concrete or you will bend and possibly break the pointy probe

Pretty handy

Pretty handy device we purchased after a water leak and to prep a concrete surface for tile.

Bought this moisture meter today, took it out of the package and put the battery in. The light coming on was the most useful thing it's done since then. The only places it will give a reading are on human skin and on the calibration tester built into the cover. I've pressed it against every wood or drywall surface on the second floor of my house and it just sits there with three dashes on the screen. good price, easy to use

I bought this as Lowes had it in stock while a competitor did not keep moisture meters in stock at their stores. I haven't really read the instructions so I am not sure what options it might have. Just needed this top keep on top of a beam that was soaked by a leaky roof. This meter was very reasonably priced, easy to use, and seems accurate. I have heard that the tips can bend easily so have been careful when in use. Happy with this overall. Good purchase

Fantastic tool.

This meter worked very well during my recent investigation for a musty/moldy odor. I tracked down the area inside the wall that was wet using the meter so I didn't have to remove the entire wall. It was a real time and money saver.

Because of problems with moisture in firewood, I purchased this meter to test the wood I receive. Just used it once, but so far does appear to be accurate with the reading because I do know the wood is seasoned and the moisture content should be low. A must have with a EPA airtight stove

I bought a new EPA air tight Wood stove and all the information about them agree that if the chimney is right and your firewood is between 15 to 20% it will be the best thing you have ever owned. This moisture meter worked great! We bought it after a water leak to monitor our drying. It worked well on wood and drywall. It is easy to use. I would definitely recommend it for other home owners.

first time user of moisture meters, this is simple to operate, easy to read , except in low light situations, clear instructions, love the design especially the protection of needle probes, great value for the money, I think they must be very much in demand by people who make furniture using especially those using rough lumber. The only con I feel is no light for certain situations, even so I would buy another one tomorrow.

Effective Moisture Meter

While costing one tenth of a device a contractor might use, this moisture reader does the job for consumers. I used it on bare plywood flooring from within the crawl space and inside the home. This is NOT a "Temperature" meter

The product is actually a moisture meter. It does a good job of estimating the amount of moisture in wood or other building material. It definately does not measure temperature.

Simple to use and does exactly what it was needed for to test moisture level in some drywall.
