Jsut in time

Have had the XG10000E for 2 days when the power went out. We have a well pump, furnace, electric dryer, as well as satellite TV, 2 fridges, water heater, microwave, lights, etc. This powers it all easily, just remember to unplug air compressors, that kicked out the breaker. Only problem was the factory forgot to bolt down the fuel tank. I need to get four flanged bolts and tap the holes. Also there was only one qt of oil, needs two.

Power to spare

Have had the XG10000E for 3 years now. We have a well pump, septic pump, furnace, electric dryer, as well as TV(s), fridge, microwave, lights etc.. This unit runs it all easily. We don't need it often, but it sure is nice when we do!! Only thing I would change would be to charge the battery automatically off the engine when it is running.

Excellent generator

I use xg10000e generator to completely power my auto detailing business. Always runs and delivers power. Only issue I ever had was with a breaker. I called generac an d the next day a technician came and fixed it. Overall a great product and would recommend to everyone needing a large amount of watts

Best Generator for the buck

I bought the XG 10000 basically for power outages at home. It will be used for other things as well. It came assembled with the exception of the wheels, the cushion mounts and the battery cables. The engine was already full of oil and the battery was charged. I filled it with fuel, added some sta-bil gas treatment and off we went. It fired right up and I ran it for a bit. axle problem

generally the generator was a great purchase. very easy to put together and get started. The only problem was the axle is two inches too short. They are sending me another one that i hope will be right., My concern is that it has been nine days so far and it still has not shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would think that a missing or damaged part would be shipped out pretty quick.Only took three days to get the generator shipped, why so long for missing parts??????????????????

Easy to start

This was my first experience buying a generator. I heard great things about a Generac so I was excited to find this one. My husband picked up and got it started with very little problems. There was a little air in lines, but after it cleared out, it ran smooth. There was not an owner's manual or the "maintenance kit" that they said would come with this generator. I have looked on line and can not find an owner's manual to print off. Not sure what was included with the starter oil and maintenance...

Runs Greats and meets our needs

Purchased this unit with a portable freezer to keep it cold while traveling. So far we have been very happy with this unit. Oil changes are easy; however, the air filter is a bit tricky to access.

Great so far

The generator was delivered on friday and I put is together and tested it on Saturday. Assembly was simple and everything seems to work as expected. The axle shipped with the generator was about 2 inches too short and would not allow me to install the wheels. Generac is shipping a replacement that I expect to receive in a few days and everything should be OK.

Business Use

Generator is fantastic for the price. Runs a whole unit for our business and still has additional power for anything more we need. We have no complaints!

Work Site Power house

I bought this unit to power my roof welding machine...it will run my single ply membrane robot welder and the hand welder with no problem. If we are doing electric screw guns for putting down insulation or metal decking I haven't found the limit. This machine is a work horse. If you're looking for a machine that will run all day and not buck at any load you put on it this is the one.

Bought on special order form Lowe's and unit shipped within a week...picked it up, brought it home and loaded it into the basement with my tractor. Upon lifting the box off the unit I was impressed on the looks of this generator...very rugged looking and seems to be built well. Assembled the wheels (couldn't be easier) took the battery out for charging (battery space a little tight to work in and I may replace those hold-down nuts with some nice big wing nuts) . Generally satisfied.

Packaging allowed slightly dented top of gas tank before customer pickup. Assembled quickly per instructions. Plastic grips slide off of handles easily. Hour Meter stopped incrementing after 1.4 hours. I have contacted Generac and am waiting for a response. I would like to be able to start and run engine for warm up at low throttle but unit is designed to start and run at 3600 RPM.

This product is more than expected.

Great quality and great value for both the generator and the transfer switch. This will provide power to all the necessities in my home that are needed in the event of a power outage.

Sturdy, good quality, reputable mfgr

I am a professional electrical engineer and have specified this specific portable generator for small city maintenance departments to run small sanitary lift stations during an extended power outage as well as a few plug-in temporary back-up power applications for small buildings. I thought I'd get one for myself and see how it holds up over time. I'm pleased overall with this unit upon assembly and first test. Easy to Set Up, Good Looking

I appreciate the ease to get this generator up and running. The spare maintenance parts were a bonus. And what a good looking unit, I'm proud to haul this around to our job sites.

Nice looking unit

Starting up a concession stand and needed a 50 amp plug to run all of my equipment and it does with power to spare. This unit is made well and is quiet for not having a idle down on it. Only have been running it for a week now but it starts first try and runs all day.

worst double purchase ever

I bought two of these generators-- the first one started smoking,leaking oil, and exhaust bolts fell out only after three days. The second one would not run at all right out of the box.
