Would RecommendBought generator and transfer switch at local Lowe's store as they were disappearing from the system stock. They delivered in a week. Hired my own electrician and plumber for required installation. Actual time needed was 3.5 days needed over 3 week time frame. Recommend that you have electrician check your house electric service prior to the install. You'll have to buy a"car" battery as well for the unit. Unit fired up flawless after connecting to our house Wi-Fi. Yes it is $50 a year, but IMHO...

Better than winning the lottery!
Would RecommendWe bought this and had it delivered to our home and paid contractors to hook it up due to the long wait times. But, it has definitely been a lifesaver for us. We're now on day 2 without power and this generator has been running our entire home. So easy, do nothing. It comes on and off automatically. It is loud so plan on placement away from bedroom windows. It's definitely the best investment we've made thus far. If I had it to do over, the only change I would make is buying it much sooner!
