This portable generator is the most versatile for the jobsite. I had one many years ago and in having a need again I went straight this brand due to longevity, price and quality.

Good product

recent Power outages made this product worth its weight. It operated without flaw till Electricity was restored after major ice storm. I would not hesitate recommending this product.

Brand new product engine starts but does now produce power.

It kinda breaks your heart when your power is out and you open your brand new generator, set it up, get then engine to power up then try to use it for power AND there isn't ANY...... so now we are left to go find a dealer to "fix a BRAND new out of the box generator"........... soooo NOT happy..........

Easy simple to use.

Only thing I noticed was scratches and paint missing from bottom of generator frames like it was pulled across a floor. This does not affect the overhaul running of the generator and was easy to touch up before rust started. Very easy to assemble and get running instructions very good.

Perfect Emergency Generator

Very portable and will take care of emergencies when power fails. Starts at first pull and noise level is moderate. Price is right too!

First pull right out of the box

Brought this home yesterday. Setup instructions were easy to follow. Assembly was a breeze. Filled up with the supplied oil. Put in gas, and first pull it roared to life. Once I flipped the choke to the run position, the engine ran smooth and worked like a charm. I was expecting it to be much louder than it is. Real happy with the generator, and for the price and function no other brand could complete.

Like the size,cost, and ease of use

Bought my first generator after researching and found Generac to be one of the best products out there. Will use this for occaisions whn power is out for short periods,camping,etc.Easy to setup, cranked after 5th pull, once it starting running it ran smoothly.

Great value for the money

After researching the different brands of generators we found the quality and value in this generator. It is perfect for our needs. We use to run our freezer/refrigerator and our sump pump, plus we will switch for use with other electric appliances as needed. Highly recommend

Used the GP3250 for the first time during a recent power outage. It easily started on the second pull. It ran for 8 hours on one tank of gas and had no problem keeping refrigerator, fan and several compact fluorescent lights running. It is definitely quieter than other models of equivalent size.

Great Beginner Generator

Have been eyeing the Generac Generators for a few years now and saw this one returned for half off. Trick is to return it with a bit of oil and it can't be sent back to the manufacture must be sold in store usually half off or more. Starts up with easy, so far so good. 5hrs run time under the belt and going real strong. Super easy to use!!!

Starts easily and runs very quiet!!!. Nice having a gas gauge for safety. Wheels & handle make it easy to set up.

Hubby brought home "Genny" after a power outage from an ice storm brought down the lines. It was easy to assemble and hook up. Started right up and we were dreamy until the power was back on. We ran the pump, fridge, freezer and some lights but would have run more I expect. I bought this generator first for the name .my dad has had several Generac generators in his life and swears by them. I initially was leary that they were out of my price range but after a little research I realized they weren't priced much different then any other brand. Simple to set-up and use

With the second snow storm bearing down I decided to have a little insurance when the power goes out. 14 inches of snow last time and expected 12 inches of snow with blizzard conditions this time I expect we will lose power this time. With this unit we will stay warm by keeping the furnace on. No freezing pipes and darkness this time. During the summer I can keep the sump pump powered up too. Small town, we loss power almost every-time a severe weather event occurs. Now, NO PROBLEM!!

This product is easy to set up and has enough power

During Super Storm Sandy we lost power and needed a generator to power our house (lights,refrig,furnace,well,etc). Went looking for a generator and they were real hard to find. Went into our local big box store and they had one leftb on a pallet from a shipment they just got in. Quiet, large fuel capacity, not too heavy, comes with wheel & moving handle, good instructions for service. Everything came with it, including oil. Easy to start. Powerful, ran sump pump, most important. Has 2 regular outlets & one biger one. Very happy with it. Keep battery charged in my GASSER.

GP Series 3250 Watt

This unit runs much better than an older GENERAC product that I own & still have lots of trouble with. This unit: Bolts for mounting the front foot rest were full of paint & very hard to start. Other than that, assembly was fine. After adding the enclosed oil & your own gas there were no problems & unit started & ran fine. Much less vibration than the previous older unit, & does not "walk around". Worked great for our last 2 day power outage.
