This product is easy to start

The generator is easy to move with the handle on one side and wheels on the other side. Easy to start and cut off for gas to store without gas left in the gas line and carb. Good for small back up power for frig, freezer and some lights or T V. Works fine.

Great Value But Noisy

The 3250 ran perfectly and looks nice. With proper maintenance I expect to get years and years of service. Isn't there some way to make generators quieter, like a car?

Absoultey thrilled with this generator!

I purchased this generator because I wanted a larger fuel tank than my older one. I used it for the first time this year to power up deer camp for a week. 11 to 12 hours per tank is what we experienced. The only drawback is the 14 amp breaker???? We did have to reset it a couple of times and really weren't over doing it... Lights, TV and Microwave on occasion. Why not 15 amp? I feel this should be upgraded and kits sent out.

This generator gave me power when I had none

When sandy hit New Jersey I lost power for 2 weeks.The generator helped me save all my meat in my 2 freezers.It also powered my lights so I could see.

Excellent Value

I found this model the perfect size for my needs since I don't plan to power up the whole house with it. The noise level is lower than I expected. I would recommend this model to others.

just purchased it. Set up nice, no problems starting; however, unit is really for small limited use. Buyers should probabably buy one size up.,

Only two plugs for 110. Buyers can use power strips to increase usage, but really four plugs are needed for simplicity. Generac has to know this. Otherwise I have reviewed and studied most portable generators, and for the money, generac provides the best product, but again go one size larger than the 3250 even though the weight becomes a factor.

Brought mine home from Lowes. Assembled it, filled it with oil and attached the ground wire. As I started to fill the tank I heard tinkle tinkle down below. As fast as I poured the gas in the tank it was leaking somewhere down by the engine. Returned it.

Saved us after hurricane Sandy.

Ran GP3250 for over 80hrs.After hurricane Sandy.Able to run Refridge/freezer,gas furnace,2 small tv's,3 lamps with low watt LED bulbs in them.Also charged cell phones & used computer,not all at once but it did work out. I used multi outlet surge protectors to distribute power.No power for 8 days.Ran gen. on & off for 8 to 12hrs. a day.Not an ideal set up,but it worked.If I didn't have the GP3250 I would have had to leave my home.

Easy to use and a lot quiter then most other generators had a larger generac but it was too big so a friend bought it from me and the smaller one is great for my needs ! Thank you

Outstanding, really easy to use, and able to power up several appliances.

This is the first time I purchased or operated or even came close to a generator. At first, I felt apprehensive, but the instructions were superb. The assembly of some of the parts were really easy. I was able to power my refrigerator, a portable cooking appliance and a lamp with no problem whatsoever. After I finished my cooking, I hooked up my television and accessories with no problem at all. I used it for several hours until the electricity came back up. I am really glad I made the purchase....

The product is ease to use

We bought the gen set some what for cost and reputation. We found ease of assembly and its easy starting was very impressive. more then what we thought we would get.

Saved from Sandy

We were very lucky. Sandy did not kill our power, but my daughter, son-in-law and baby were without power. I loaded up the Generac and got them going with enough power to keep some important things going. Great Generator. Easy to use. Lasts a long time on one tank of Gas.

Suggestion for Oil Dipstick

The Generator is great. Starts with 1 or 2 pulls. However, I'd like to suggest replacing the BLACK oil dipstick with a WHITE oil dipstick. It would make it much easier to read by flashlight. Otherwise, the generator has been helping us cope on the New Jersey Shore. With another Nor'easter on its way in 3 days it will certainly be useful. Keep good thoughts for those that have been hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy.

GREAT GENERATOR

The setting up was so easy and the generator started at my first pull. I was amazed.Worked great for the time I needed it. Had heat, hot water and it ran my water pump for the well, was like the power never went off. I would highly recommend this generator.

Lots of juice for good price

I got this generator to use as a backup for my furnace and fridge. Winters in the Northeast can be tricky and this generator gives me peace of mind. It was easy to set up and start up.My only complaint is the location of the pull cord, but it's only a minor inconvenience.Has plenty of power to run my 3/4 HP furnace blower and my fridge.Very quiet compared to others I've heard. Excellent buy!

Great!!

An excellent piece of equipment. Assembly took about 15 minutes, total. Generac even provided the funnel to put oil into the engine and the wrench to check or change the spark plug.

This product has circuit breaker issue's

I had a GP 3250 it has circuit breaker issue's. The breaker keep's kicking out when starting up a circular saw and another person has to hold it so you can start it up.

Engine Trouble

After 22 months of owning this unit, and about 10 total hours of operation, my generator threw a rod spewing oil and metal parts onto my driveway. I had to drive 20 miles to a shop that would work with Generac's warranty program. (The four shops closer had stopped participating in the program due to low compensation for their work.) Excellent Portable Generator On the Market!!

I have the Generac Guardian 20K for my entire home and shop. I needed a portable generator for camping, hunting, and working on my country home. Of course I went with Generac again for this one. This portable generator can pack the power!!! It is very easy to set up and use, which is good for me because I am a Disabled Veteran. The noise level is almost nothing. It is very reliable, no break or dimming of power. I highly recommend this portable generator, you can't go wrong!!!!!
