Great I upgrade from my previous PLN
I upgraded to the Inreach Mini 2 from another brand and use it on backpacking trips in remote areas without cell service. It gives mtbdamily peace of mind to know i am safe and located .very pleased with the explorer app integration.

I should have bought it sooner
Easy to set up and simple to use. I van change plans as needed. With the phone connected switches from cell tower to satellite with signal strength. My wife’s mind is at ease knowing where I am and that all is good.

Great compact micro hunting device
Bought this for some backcountry elk hunting in the mountain. Works great lets you communicate with your loved ones where there is no cell service, gives you updated weather and is there if an emergency arises. Great product

Great battery life
More complicated than I thought it would be. Trouble adding people to text. Like the weather features and tracks

InReach mini 2
I am 67 years into life somewhat computer literate and this is not very user friendly. great idea would be to have someone who has not been involved with programing and manual writing see how easily they can figure it out.

Game Changer!!
It was my first trip into the back country of the Colorado Mountains when I haven't been completely alone. It was also so comforting to know I could get help if needed. This is the security I needed so my wife didn't worry the entire time I was gone!

Great battery life
I purchased this used through a previous owner, however I love the features this GPS has and the ability to text through the garmin app on your phone when paired to this GPS is also a huge advantage.

Security at its Best~
I bought this Garmin inReach for my boys as they’ve started hunting on their own in our Wyoming mountains—beautiful, but also dangerous and unforgiving. They’re also avid backpackers who love taking week-long trips across the state. Even though they were born and raised here and know these mountains by heart, anything can happen out there: injuries, falls, wildlife… the unexpected. This device has been the best purchase for my mom heart, giving me peace of mind knowing they can stay safe and con...

Piece of Mind
I purchased this at the insistence of my fiance. I've been biking lately in some remote areas in Pennsylvania state forests. Cell coverage is almost nonexistent there. It's easy to use, just paired it with my IPhone and watched a few videos and I was good to go. At 63 years old my family worries about me on excursions that I like to do. I mostly do solitary adventures so using the inReach eases there anxiety a bit.

Great Product
Perfect for my needs and where I hunt. Can take it into remote areas and still stay in touch with your family and they always know where I’m at.

It works!
I have only used it once, on a 5-day kayaking trip. One night there was no cell service, but I was able to exchange messages with my wife via my iphone and the inReach Mini 2. For this, it worked great!

Ok/ very nice
The same reason it’s nice is why it’s is not nice. The size. It’s awesome you use your phone. But if your not a weekend warrior you have to charge two peace’s of equipment. In the back country no plugins. Kodiak island back country with solar charger two weeks. Could be not keep two peace’s charged. Garmin is grate to walk with use the thing with frozen fingers in Alaska you need that phone charged.

Alaska
Many places here in Alaska have little to no cell service. The inReach gave me the ability to contact anyone I had to.

THE safety net!
When you have the technology, it irresponsible not to have one. Your family deserves it!
