I am just getting started with this forerunner...had one many moons ago before smartphones and apps. So far I like the workout options. Display is bright and band is adjustable even on my small wrist. Looking forward to using more festures.

I used mine yesterday for hiking. I couldn't find an actual tracker for hiking so I just used 'run'. It worked but didn't give elevation gain which is important info for hikers.

Love my Forerunner 45S!
Less than a half hour out of the box my watch was set up and I was out the door running! Super easy to use and surprisingly comfortable to wear. I'm very happy with it!

Great Watch, The Strap was too small for me, But Garmin support was amazing. I wife loved the watch because it fit her. But, it was a gift for me, LOL. She's going to have to wait for Christmas. Thanks again, you made my Wife Happy that her gift was not spoiled.

I switched from Fitbit to this! I am so much happier with this. It has more features than my Fitbit did and it never has any trouble syncing which was an issue for me with Fitbit. I'm very happy with this watch! It does everything I wanted and more! The quality of the device itself is better than Fitbit too and the phone app is easier to navigate as well!

Got Everything I Need
Decided on the 45S since I didn't think I needed any of the extra features that come with the 245 or up and I really think most people don't require anything more than this as well. Good battery life, pretty accurate with what they advertise.

DON’T BUY THIS!!
I had a Garmin before which was a very basic one that had GPS. I’m sending this one back though because the display light is VERY dim. I tried to adjust it keeping the light on all the time, but then the battery drains to nothing in one day. I really wanted to like this watch, but screen lighting is a very basic issue and should not be happening. I ended up ordering a Fitbit charge 4 instead. Anyway good luck.
