It just wasn't as smart as the Google OS I have been using and it didn't pair well with the Runtastic running app. I'm sure its a good product, but it wasn't a good fit for me.

terrific while running
The Garmin 45 is a wonderful addition to my runs. At one quick glance I get distance, pace and time elapsed and, in particular, to see my pace vary over during a run is very enlightening. It is not the most intuitive to use, however, and I wish there was a quick set-up guide just for the basics of running.

Great features and fit
Bought this about two weeks ago so still getting familiar. First thing I do love is the fit. I have a smaller wrist and I love how it looks and fits. Second, I enjoy how easy it is to quickly record a run or exercise with just a button. I also have been impressed how much battery I have after 4-5 days and how quickly it charges even for being on the charger for a few minutes. I should have gotten the 245
I use my watch to control my music while I run and the 45 music control gets interrupted and I have to try to find the right combination of button pushing to get back to the menu and I usually wind up getting my phone out of my belt and restarting my music causing me to question why I need a watch.

Novice Runner - First Fitness Watch
I've had the Forerunner 45 for a few days now and I'm pleased with the performance so far. The way that it that it takes your metrics and displays the data in a way that's easy to understand. By far the sleep tracker and running coach are my favorite features.

Great for Runner's
I should have bought my Forerunner 45 sooner! I presently only use it for running, so I can't comment on its many other features. The stand-alone GPS is very accurate as compared to my known route length. The heart rate readings are very close to my other measurement methods. I customized my running activity display to show heart rate, distance and total time on one screen. Perfect for me! Not Great
The watch was a gift from wife. Not great watch, but it was also very affordable. Price was good but features are not. The watch is not intuitive, it takes time getting used to the buttons, it’s not Bluetooth compatible with many devices such as a peloton. I would not buy again nor recommend. Better brands available with a high price tag which offer better technologies. Sorry I couldn’t offer a better review.

Good Value With Great Data
I enjoy my new watch. The amount of data it collects is worth the value alone. The only down side is that the watch is not very intuitive. I assumed I knew how to operate it, and I read the instructions, but still can't figure out how to start a work out, or the proper work out.

Best watch Ever!
I bought this watch about 2 weeks ago and it is the best watch that I have ever owned! It’s easy to use, and tracks my activities, heart rate, steps, and even my sleep patterns. It keeps accurate time and the watch band is extremely comfortable. I used to own the Fitbit watch and this watch way outperforms it. I highly recommend the Garmin Forerunner 45!

The Watch does everything is is supposed to do. I gave it a 4 star review because I felt the watch band was bit small. Otherwise very functional easy to read in the sun. I also had some issues at first with pairing with phone. All good now!
