I have only had the Forerunner 45 for a week, but so far it is working great. It takes a while to figure out all the gadgets / how to maneuver and work everything, but I'm getting there. Very nice so far.

Nice for basics
Been out with this on two runs Ray to use, GPS links up quickly. Little tick to linking with my iPhone but that’s not a deal breaker for me

I received my watch a few days ago. My review will be based on that. So far so good. I really love the size. How easy it is to use. Still getting use to it. I have to figure out why I don’t get text notifications. I do get calls and other notifications but not text. Like it for now.

Packed with all kinds of features, if you are not used to this technology it can be complicated to use and set up. The best thing to do is follow the website instructions because the manual it comes with is brief, small print and just hits basic points. Not my Speed
I bought this watch last week and I don't care for it. I should have done more research as I wanted more of a smart watch. This watch is a run watch with very few smart watch features. I think it would great for avid runners.

Great so far GPS was right on point.
I've had this for a week but didn't use it until today. I own a Tom Tom GPS watch and wanted to finish my virtual half marathon with it. The GPS was on point with tom tom for distance and I really like ease of use. I liked all the information provided on you wrist and on the phone. Looking forward to many more runs with my Garmin.

great features, very close to perfect entry level
awesome device, wish garmin would include basic strength training activity tracking. that would make this a complete entry level activity tracker/exercise watch. dont even need rep counting( that could be left in Forerunner 245 and up), just basic activity tracking with HR and calorie count.The screen is great. I am completely happy with sacrificing shiny apple watch LCD screen for battery life!!! sleep tracking is good but could be better. GPS tracking and wrist HR count is great.

I RECEIVED MY WATCH AS A GIFT. SO FAR I LIKE THE FEATURES ON THE WATCH. HAV'NT HAD LONG ENOUGH TO RATE IT FAIRLY BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY OTHERS THAT IT IS A VERY GOOD WATCH.

This product has simplified tracking my runs and progress. Very user friendly, high accuracy, and rugged design. 100 times better than tracking with just a phone application. Has all the features I was looking for in a simple device.

Technology challenged
Bought this because everyone laughed at me and my old school Pedometer and my old Garmin Forerunner 10 that was working just fine for intervals. Get a new watch they said...no one said I'll show you how to set it up. I have no clue how to get the intervals set up. Printed the owners manual and still can't get the intervals set up. Figured out enough to get emails, texts, and FB to land in my phone, which is very nice...but not really the purpose of me getting a new watch... I need a human to h...
