Basic golf gps
Got for Xmas and just used it on course, doesn’t track the actual pin placement just front middle back of green distance, cart gps was better. Haven’t downloaded other features yet but just a basic golf gps, I do like the watch feature with light tho

Aggravating features
The golf gps is ok for its purpose but the required club selection after each and every shot is a distraction and unnecessary. Also, the pop up of messages from one’s synced cell phone is also a pain (you can lock them out when you are playing). Virtually no instructions are provided with the watch so one must use some trial and error to discover the operation of the device. I would much prefer a straightforward golf gps without the unnecessary bells and whistles.

Garmin S42 golf watch works great
I bought this watch 1 month ago and have used it twice. I am still learning it features but the golf portion works great. The golf gps is accurate and is quick to display yardage and hole characteristics. I truly like the hole scoring option and the warning alert it provides as you finish up a hole. (a quick vibration on your wrist) I am still learning the other option. Additionally it pair easily to my mobile phone and tracks my step count as I walk throughout the day.

GPS Gplf Watch
Nice watch, however it's not what I was looking for, I was lead to believe it would also show the hole layout and yardages. If it does I don't know how to get to it. Show that they need better instruction for the operation of this watch. I also wish that the watch would show digital readout.

Every time I try to find a golf course it come with no course found. That is when I am a the course. This I have played before. The first with this watch it found the and ever since it comes up no courses found.

Good… but could be better.
Much better than the S12. Satellite acquisition sometimes a bit long. Garmin yardage a bit different than rangefinder … guessing the course map might be a bit off … other brands yardage may differ a bit because they use different course maps. Rangefinder is a pain … so I prefer GPS 95% of the time.
