Doesn't work

I added some fuel and the torch would not lite for me. I could not get it to stay lit even with a match. The trigger seemed hard to operate also. I would not recommend this product.

Waste of Money - Zero Stars

Leaks when filling. Lucky if you can get it to light. Wish I had read reviews prior to purchase. Ended up using a regular lighter for shrink wrap tubing. Going back for refund

Dont Buy

Bought this on a Saturday Could not get it to light . Returned it on Sunday.

Not worth the money

Filled the container with the fuel, lit once and would never light again. Returned and will look for something better.

I bought this to heat shrink a connection. This item leaks and does not work. I will be returning it.

Dollar store value

I will be returning it because the product is fairly deceiving, the flame is generally weak and unreliable ... if it does ignite. My product came with a plastic piece broken inside and rattling around but was still functioning. It has a basic butane lighter inside. The fuel container leaks and the lighter leaks when trying to fill up. It seems more like a novelty than functional. I suppose it depends on what you want to use it for but the flame is so small and it lists a 2370 F temp on the back ...

And they call this a torch???

My husband is a Welder by trade and needed a simple torch to complete a task I gave him at the house. I bought this at local store and brought home and when he went to use it he laughed. It was an actual lighter (like a cigarette lighter) that had to be filled with butane and that's how the torch was supposed to light. Ha! I can tell you that didn't happen & the torch went right back to the store.

This product is so bad it is comical.

This product is completely worthless. Its nothing more than a cheap lighter that leaks. It broke before I could even get it filled with gas. By "broke", I mean leaking gas.

Awful Product

I purchased this produce as well as several other GB shrink connectors. I got home 12 miles out of Abilene this product never worked I couldn't even get a different lighter to light this product. In addition the other GB shrink connectors didn't heat shrink very good. I had to drive a total of 48 miles just to buy a propane torch that worked. This is very fustrating... The only bad thing is Lowes doesn't allow for a ZERO RATING that's the only way GB got a 1 star from me.

Horrible product. #GB lighter is useless. Filling up butane is a costly joke as it will spill everywhere. Light? What light! It sparks for a second then...nothing. Should have bought the regular creme brûlée lighters in a kitchenware shop. Wanted this to make baked Alaska. Taking back today!

MFG should be ashamed for making such junk!

First, good idea but bad design & cheap production. Not only do they not have proper instructions refueling is almost impossible without wearing it all over yourself which by the way they do tell you it's hazardous. This is a piece of junk that could have been made well for the price it was sold for $20. Plus for $5 more I could have had a professional hand torch just a little bit bigger and much nicer and safer. I am so upset that I am not only going to return this to LOWES where I bought it ...

Directions to fill burner not clear; had to go to the internet to find out. Once filled IT DIDNT WORK! I didn't have time to return and I'm now out $20.

Save your money and buy a book of matches.

I dropped $20 on this. Would not stay lit and would not heat up an underground cable splice repair tube. I had to go buy an inexpensive torch. Basically you will be buying a Bic lighter for $20. I would give this a zero star if that option was available.

Do Not Buy

Wont light on its own and when i use a lighter to light it, it wont stay lit. Ill be returning it tomorrow!

Called the manufacture for a lighter replacement. I was told that Lowe's, The Home Depot and ACE Hardware carries the replacement lighters. Wrong! No one carries them. And the manufacture did not suggest that they could help me. Don't buy it. For 19.95 and no replacement lighters available. I would look for another brand.
