Very difficult to get a flame. Flint ignite didn’t seem to create a big enough spark. Plan on returning it

Nifty Torch

Good torch for the price. Lighting can be finicky sometimes, but will light after a couple trigger pulls if not the first time.

Propane torch

A propane torch that is easy to use but mostly made of plastic and need Ronson butane to fill up.

Handheld propane torch

I bought this to melt the sugar on creme brulee. Just didn't cut it. The "propane tank" is literally a cigarette lighter with the regulator removed. Two things happened while using. One, setting the flame at anything over the minimum caused it to blow itself out to an extent that I had to use a cigarette lighter to light the durn thing (with limited success). Two, when lit, the flame was so feeble it took over 2 minutes to melt one teaspoon of sugar. That just ain't right. Anyway, I returned it ...

It definitely wasn't what I expected and what I seen operating it from the inside blew my mind. This certain style barely had any torch like abilities. The flame did NOT get hardly above the ignition point. Made it extremely difficult to get my hot water tank and lines in working order

Better than rubbing two sticks together

I can see where this would be a practical, but it seems kinda basic. It uses a modified pocket lighter as the fuel source and jets about as hot as a Bic. My expectations were too high for this “torch”.

Don’t waste your money!

Don’t waste your money if your using for outdoor wires, it didn’t work to well for me and barely shrunk the tubing I was using.

Butane torch

I returned the product as it didn't work. The cylinder was filled with butane but it would not light. I plan on buying one made for the kitchen (ie for Creme Brulee) as they have better quality and are more reliable.

Not worth $30

It’s basically a cigarette lighter, bought it for heat shrink tubing. A Bic cigarette lighter works better

Poor materials

Fell apart with first attempted use. Additionally, would not light.

Horrible

Taking this back today! Cant get it to stay on for more than about one second and that takes about 8-10 attempts for the spark to catch.

Provides less heat than anticipated. More like a lighter than a torch.

Did not work.

Filled with Butane, worked fine. The very next day tried to use it to heat shrink some wires and it would not work at all. Returned it to store. The only reason it got one star is because there wasn't an option for zero stars.

Junk

Takes between 8-10 clicks to get a flame, then the flame dies in less that 3-4 seconds.

A waste of money

I would give this zero stars. It has a cheap plastic lighter inside. Very difficult to light and the flame cannot be adjusted with the torch lit. There is a small opening in the case that does not align with the adjustment on the lighter. The trigger cannot be locked in an open position.

Not Worth Purchasing

I bought this little propane torch to heat shrink wrap on wires, but the torch often refused to ignite or it would go out in less than 10 seconds making it worthless for the task.

Doesn’t work

I used it several times the day I bought it and had trouble getting it to ignite each time. I tried using it again today and it will not ignite the flame. I thought this was something I should buy from Lowes instead of Harbor Freight to make sure it was a quality product that would last. Guess I was wrong
