What Customers Are Saying
The frosted rice paper window film provides mixed results. Some users found it effective at providing privacy and light filtration, but the majority reported issues with installation and adhesion. Many customers struggled to apply the film, which often curled, peeled, or failed to stick properly, especially along edges and corners. While a few were satisfied with the final result, the overall consensus is that the product is challenging to use and may not be worth the effort for most customers.

Would Not RecommendThe main thing I would suggest is, before you do anything else, curl the roll backwards and put it back in the box. Use a dowel or roll of gift wrap to help you roll it. You need to take the curl out of it, otherwise the curled sides will not stick. I followed the instructions exactly, and purchased the spray (which is probably just dish soap and water), but I literally thought I had put the wrong side on because it kept curling off the glass. The instructions say to use a liberal amount of the ...
Good looking but takes patience to apply.
Would RecommendThis was used to frost a bathroom window for privacy, which it did with a great design. The instructions were clear and I decided not to buy the installation kit. I used an old credit card and water to install. It doesn't allow any moving around to line up the edges once it touched the glass. After many tries, it became clear that I should have cut a piece with 1" extra all around and put it in, then razor blade away the excess. After it fit in correctly, then getting out the bubbles was easy wi...

Great Product!!
Would RecommendI have used this on a 2nd floor bathroom window and a multi-paned window, with excellent results. Both have been on the windows for at least 3 years. I am purchasing more to use on a 1st floor bathroom window. Just follow the directions and do not over use the spray, you only need a very light mist, and it will stick.
Great
Would RecommendHad my doubts after reading the reviews, but reading the directions carfully, purchasing the installation kit, and taking my time, the job went very smooth. Better than I expected, and works perfect. Just make sure someone helps with the removal of the backing, and do not be affraid of saturating everything with the solution.
Kind of a pain
Would RecommendI bought this to cover the glass panels on my french doors. I bought the application kit to go with it. The application kit was a pain and a waste of money. The film doesn't stick until the liquid dries. I found that if I coated the window with rubbing alcohol and then put the film on and smoothed it out, it stuck instantly and stayed there. It looks great now that it is done but it was a little tricky until I figured it out. I wouldn't recommend buying the application kit.
