Pool safety for grandkid's visit
Would RecommendI bought these to have an alarm on the doors to the lanai and pool when the grandkids came to visit for a week this summer. They go on with two sided tape, and I was able to fit the smaller piece onto a 3/4 inch wide door track on the slider. Worked like a charm every time anyone opened the door. Not a replacement for vigilant adults around children and pools, but a nice supplement that was very easy to install for the visit.

Would RecommendThis product effectively lets us know when the doors we installed them on are opened. However, the framing around our doors is not flat which does not offer a large enough area for the tape to hold firm without chiseling out some of the wood.

Staying in a rental with poor security
Would RecommendBought these to give me peace of mind, as I am staying in a rental with keys that have been used over and over again. While this will not stop someone from breaking in, I can sleep soundly knowing they will not surprise me. I put them on the hinge side of the door with picture mounting tape (easy to remove). They work great. They have a loud chime feature, I use during the day. They have a terribly LOUD feature, I use at night. Worth the money!

Would RecommendI bought these for my doors as I have the night guards on my windows. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper so I wanted something that would alert me if the doors were breached at night. They are perfect! Simple to install and the alarm is really loud. I actually think that the alarm is so loud that a potential intruder would turn and run... I know I've forgotten to turn them off a couple of times and scared the snot out of myself when I opened the door!

Would RecommendInstalled one at front door and the other at garage to house door. As long as I remember to activate and deactivate, I should be able to tell when someone enters or leaves. There was a slight off-set from door to door casing, but they seem to be close enough to work without any adjustments.
