Great, depending on your needs

It's very simple and they do work but in my application it was not what I was looking for. They are extremely loud right at the point of entry. There is no volume control so taping over the speaker is the only solution for that. If you're looking for a pleasant sounding charm this is not the product. If you're looking for a remote chime that is not at the point of entry this would also not be the right solution. If you just need a loud door alert on perhaps a basement door to be heard throughout...

safety first

bought these to put on basement & garage doors after we had my husband's 94 year old mother move in with us. already had them on the windows. cheap way for protection warning.

Does what I need it to

I purchased this product to help me feel safer; there were break-ins near by and I wanted something that would scare a potential robber off without paying a truck load of money for an actual security system. This is exactly what I was looking for. This product is easy to install and only took me about twenty minutes to do three doors and four windows. My only wish is that there was some sort of time delay so that when I leave the house, the alarm doesn't immediately go off in my ear.

Exactly what we needed

The alarm and chime are very loud and clear. The device was very easy to install.

I bought two - of the two packs

The first couple of days they all worked fine - but less than four days later one of the alarms stays on constantly -even with the door closed - we had to just turn it off completey- so its of no use to us..

Okay, but sticky back can wear out

I purchased these to alert me when my disabled son opens a door. On my wood door they are affixed well. The doors have to be flush. I can not use it on my other door due to the frame not being flush with the door. One stayed up well, the other the sticky back wore out and it fell. Overall a good product when installed correctly.

Took back difficult to attach to door. Dont recommend.

Great Purchase for simple door alarm!

I needed something so I could hear when my doors were opened. They attached extremely easily and I always hear when my doors are opened now. The alarm setting gives me a good piece of mind for at night too.

Works perfect for my needs (Autism)

I got these to alert me as to when my Autistic son was trying to venture outside alone, and they have worked perfectly. I've not set them to alarm just the alert feature and I have been able to hear them from everywhere in my home. I can see how they would be a good deterrent in an apartment as well.

Helpful safety item for kids who may "elope"

If you have a child with a disability who may "elope" (run away), this is a helpful tool in your arsenal to keep your child safe. The chirp is loud. The alarm is even louder. It's not the only precaution you should take, but it's a good one.

Feel much safer

Exactly what I wanted! Very loud alarm, easy to install (and I'm terrible at those sorts of things, so if I say it's easy, it really is!) and easy to use. I put them on all my windows and my door and I feel much safer in my apartment now. You could use it for other things too-- a cabinet you don't want your child opening, for example.

Easy & Convienent
