Do not buy!

These are the worst Christmas lights I have ever purchased. Strand died before its first season was over. Replaced both fuses and check all unlit bulbs. Still won't work. GE and Lowe's should be ashamed that they continue to scam customers by still selling these lights. Didn't save my receipt so now way to prove my proof of purchase to GE for warranty replacement. Should have read these reviews before buying in store. Don't make the same mistake as the rest of us. Avoid at all costs.

Exchange every year

Since lowes wants to sell a junk product, I buy new sets every year, and take the old non working ones back. Good for me!

No replacement bulbs available

Purchased two of the StayBright 75 Count LED C-9 Strands. Pulled them out for our second season with them to discover a few bulbs had burnt out in one strand causing half of that strip to not work. Had to go buy a LED Keeper to test the bulbs. Unfortunately the only place I've been able to find the replacement bulbs is on the GE website & are half the price I of the strand for 20 bulbs.

Waste of Money

We bought 4 strands for the outside of our home last winter. Went to put them up this fall and 3/4 are not working. We checked all the bulbs - they looked good. The wiring is falling out of the bulbs on one strand. So we tried soldering the wires back together (husband’s an electrician). Couldn’t salvage that strand. Don’t even bother wasting time on these. It’s such a huge disappointment and loss of $200. Don’t recommend.

5 STRANDS WENT OUT AFTER 1 SEASON

We bought 5 sets of the 75count led c9, had them up for one season. Went to check them all this year and all 5 are completely out. Tried to trouble shoot but there was no way to figure it out. These need to removed from the market asap. I have receipts and pictures of the product

Not Warm White

These are not even close to warm white bulbs. Since we need to match our existing warm white bulbs, we will be returning these.

Do NOT buy!!!

I bought 2 strings of these 2 years ago (Fall 2021), took them down and packed them away the week after Christmas. I took them out the following year (2022) and 1/2 the string was dead on both. I was late decorating, so I didn't have much choice but to buy 2 more strings, as it was all that was available. I kept the receipt and packaging. I went out to take them down (January 2023) and once again, 1/2 of the string is out on both strings. I was past Lowe's window for return, so I looked at ...

DO NOT BUY

We bought these lights because they were GE and they had a 3 year warranty—BIG MISTAKE. When the lights fail they want you to send them in to them at your expense. If i have to pay to send them back I can buy new lights. Will not buy GE lights again!!!!!

Good weather works great! But not when wet!

Wonderful in good weather but not when wet. Half of the string either go out or go dim. They come back 90 percent of the time when they dry out.

Wanted to hang lights for years!

I love how bright they are and the color mix is good. No white helps the lights look more colorful from a distance.

Indoor Outdoor Lights Are Temperature Sensitive

Everything worked fine with my outdoor installation until.the temperature dipped below 25 F. They failed.

Trash Lights Don't Buy

Buyer beware. I purchased 4 rolls of these lights in 2021 and 1 roll didn't even last a season. Only half the lights of my other 3 rolls work right now. I can't return at Lowes because it's a holiday item. These do have a warranty, but I have to pay to ship these out, might as well buy new ones. Thanks for wasting my money!

Lights died in the first season

I got tired of the standard string lights and constantly replacing bulbs two years ago, so I went out and bought $300 of these GE C6 and C9 bulbs. After the first month, half of them went out and my house looked like crap. I spent about 2hrs this year trying to fix them, testing every bulb, replacing every bulb to no avail. I have 6x sets of the C9 and 3x sets of the C6 and only 2x of the lines work HALFWAY. The other 8x don't even light up at all anymore. I didn't even put lights up this y...

Not worth the buck.

I bought 5 sets and put 4 of them on my house, within two weeks one strand went out and i had to replace with the other set and then a week after that, another set has quit working. Not great quality in my opinion.
