Not really Warm white

The package describes these lights as Warm white but they are somewhat cooler than expected.

These lights do not last even one season.

We bought multiple stands of these last year. Put them up the first part of December & took down in January. They ran only four hours each evening. We've had many strands that either only half lights up or now they do not light up at all. Way too much money for them to not even last a year. Unless you've got money to burn, I wouldn't waste the money.

Disappointed

We purchased 7 boxes of 25 count C9 bulbs last year. Although they are a little dim I hoped to get more than 1 season out of them. Agter setting up this year we have only 2 of the 7 stands that mostly work. The other 5 I tried replacing the fuses and making sure the LEDs all were in place, but was a no go. Disappointed that these have a high price point with limited use and reliability.

Do not buy

The “warm” white ones are blue. After a year only half the bulbs even turn on. The ones that do work flicker so bad you can’t look at them. 0/10 would not buy

They fail every single year

I have a love/hate relationship with these lights. Meaning, my wife loves how they look, but I HATE how they operate. The lights stop working every single year without fail. I probably have about 10 strands of the 75 Count rolls (Note: That's just got this year. I;lve bought them for the last three years, and have had to dispose of others). Remarkable Garbage

I bought 7 of these last year. They looked great after I put them up, lasted a couple of weeks, then sections started going out at random. Now, only a year later, after having stored them gently on the spool they come on in a heated basement, half of them don't work. Don't fall for GE's 3-year warranty claim either. It states that I have to pay to ship them their defective product and include my receipt if I want hope of a replacement and that could take 4-6 weeks.

Troubleshooting year after year

And can’t find spares. The worst. They worked half of the first year. I bought 3 strands and spend hours every year troubleshooting these things. Purchased 4 years ago. Expect half of them to work.

Another Set Out

I just wrote a review where half of the string stopped working with less than 18 hours. 3 days later half of another set has crapped out. These lights are junk. I tried to bring some joy to the neighborhood and all I get is one big pain in the butt.

Dont buy

These are the worst lights. Died after 1 season replaced them to match the rest and not even a week later and they are dead again. All that work of putting them up and didnt even make it to December 1st. Reaching out to GEs line doesnt get you response either.

Worst lights ever

These are the worst Christmas lights I have ever purchased. On NOV 28th last year I Purchase 7 strands of these. This year went to put them up and only one partially worked about half way then the rest were dead. GE warranty tells me to mail them back ( I must pay shipping ) so they can either fix or replace in 4 to 6 weeks!!! Lowes should not be selling these and immediately send all inventory back to GE. Avoid at all costs

Dim!

Purchased these lights today, spent all afternoon putting them up. I have been wanting to switch to LED for a while, was excited. Huge mistake. These would be great if you didnt want anyone to see them. They all lit up and the packaging was decent so I bumped it to 2 stars.

Absolute garbage.

I would give these zero stars if they let me. We bought 7 boxes of these last year to use outdoors. Put them up and they lasted only a couple weeks before some strands were not as bright and some didn’t work at all. We took them down and hoped once everything dried out they would be good. Technicalities aside, THESE AREN’T WARM WHITE

I’m angry. I spent hours putting up “warm white” lights. THESE ARE NOT WARM WHITE. They are bright white. I saw the response to a previous reviewer. GE did the classy thing and informed the customer that these were “technically” warm white. Seriously? Now I’m even angrier. Your product is mislabeled, people spend valuable time, energy, and money and you have the audacity to say you’re technically right? Ok. These lights were between $34 to $35. That money was mine. Terrible product but I fixed them !!

I buy these light every year knowing they're terrible. 1/2 of the lights on 75% of the strings go out usually after it rains. You should note they come with a 3 year limited warranty so each year I save my receipts and take back the failed strings of lights for a refund. It's now become my new Christmas tradition. Hoping for no rain until Christmas. PS I hope the division that makes Christmas lights for GE doesn't make their jet engines !!!

Nice looking...but

I bought 2 sets of these. I put them on my split rail fence, tried them two times for a test run. Turned them on Thanksgiving night for 5 hours. Turned them on the next night and a section (38 bulbs out of 75) didn't want to light. I initially recommended these to a few other people in my HOA. I should have kept my mouth shut, and heeded the low reviews before I bought them. These suck.

Replacement bulbs

Overall these have been great lights. Great color and easy to work with. My only complaint is that they only come with a red and a blue bulb replacement. I currently have 2 strands that both have a green bulb that does not work. How can I get more replacement bulbs in the other 3 colors?

Buyer Beware - These are NOT warm white.

I repeat NOT warm white. While the package notes warm white, it doesn't match any warm white light bulbs we have. It does look remarkably like cool white or daylight white though, but it is impossible to know as there is not Kelvin temperature on the package. As you can see from our picture, doesn't look like warm white at all. Sadly, we just wasted time buying them, putting them up, and now we will be wasting time taking them down and returning them. Do better GE!!
