WIFI controlled!!!

It cools really good. Also love that it’s WIFI connected. You can control it from your phone. Definitely recommend for elders or handicapped people that can’t reach it.

This is a larger unit.

My daughter's mini split unit isn't working properly. We purchased this window unit and it does a great job of cooling the majority of her main level. We would recommend this unit.

doesn't get very cold

keeps going into some kind of mode that causes it to not blow very cold air. Sometimes turns off for no reason, filter light is on constantly even right after I thoroughly clean it. worst air conditioner I have ever owned

Love it !!!! Very cooling and options . Highly recommend.

Garbage

Absolute garbage. Don’t last a year! It doesn’t seem “as if” quality has dropped in GE only but appliances as a whole have become unadulterated garbage. Let’s face it, it’s not just GE but everything just about. This piece of trash freezes midway through its cycle and it’s practically worthless in ECO mode.

General Electric is supposed to be reliable that’s why I chose GE. 1 year goes by this item in “non-exchangeable” and basically goes to waste because it’s. Um we've had it for I think a month or two now and it makes a bunch of funny noises and that's it I don't I want to return it but I don't know if I can

Excellent Air Conditioner

We bought this last summer and it worked great all summer long. It runs quiet and cooled several small rooms in an open floor plan layout. Very pleased.

My local Lowe's generally has two ge5000 BTU air conditioners 1/2 lines between the dials and the other one has that between the dials. Get the dots. The air conditioners cost about the same. This one is on 8th and High cool it is 67° outside and it's warm in this room. The other one made my room feel arctic. It broke after 5 years there was only one of the other one left at the store and the box was mangled so I got this. I hate this. I believe it works as intended it just does not compare well...
