Lemon- GE doesn’t stand behind products

Have had issues since day one. Has been serviced for leaking at least 8 times in 2 years. Now issues with the door locking and is locked shut with wet clothes. Service company states faulty parts again and they need order. Every time a repair is needed we are without a washer for at least a month… we took out the extended warranty (thankfully) and the warranty company first comes out to assess, then they order the parts, and then they reschedule you for a repair. Auto soap dispenser

Died after six months. Replacement doesn’t work.

Do not buy this washer. The washer died with the door locked after six months. Bad control board. After waiting two weeks and then not being able to find a new control board, they sent me a new washer. The new washer doesn’t complete any cycle and leaves all of my clothes, soapy and wet with a puddle in the bottom of the washer. Now I’m being told they won’t replace it, warranty only covers repairs. This is my first GE product and will be my last. I am utterly disappointed in the lack of quality...

I received this as a Mothers Day gift and absolutely love it. We had our previous W/D set for almost 18 years, I hope this one lasts just as long!

Great Washing Machine

We love our new washing machine. The large capcity is extremely nice for big comforters and sheets. The auto dispense feature is nice as well.

Expensive and misses the mark

I needed to replace the GFWR4805FMC pedestal model, which was not cost effective to repair because the spider broke. GE has changed their models quite a bit and finding a like replacement was impossible. Aesthetically, I'm very disappointed with how this product is built - there is an inch gap on the sides between the machine and the riser, and you can see the hardware that holds the two together. Top rated... factor in an extended warranty

I wasn't really in the market for a new washer. I bought it because my 3.5 year old GE washer just like it (slightly older model) decided to go out (motor, pulley system, and inverter.) I did not buy the extended warranty because the motor comes with a 10 yr and I figured a quality name like GE would get me through at least a decade. Of course, I was wrong. Hookup was easy. Love how it regulates water level to save on water. So far we are happy with our washer.

I’m in love!

I’ve had my GE set for three weeks and I’m in love! They get my family’s clothes really clean and dries nicely. My favorite features are 1) the venting after a wash cycle, which completely dries the washer so there’s no mildew or musty smell, and 2) the 1-step wash and dry feature on the washer, which I use quite a bit if I run a load before bed or if I’m not sure when I’ll get back to the laundry room. Great features and cleans well

Great machine. I’m glad that it’s treated with microban to help prevent mold. Easy to use and nice that you can keep the door closed and it has a vent to dry everything inside

Great washer and dryer

Purchased the GE Profile 95 Series washer and gas dryer with the pedestals. The washer does an excellent job of cleaning clothes as compared to my previous top load washer. Machine is quiet and cycle times are shorter than the previous washer. The dryer takes about half the time of the previous dryer. Clothes come out dry and with less wrinkles. The SmartHQ app for monitoring the washer and dryer is a very nice feature. I would recommend this washer and dryer.

Overall great except for the filter location!

Great feature and easy to use. Love the huge drum size. However the filter that must be cleaned is too low on the machine...even with an oversized overflow pan (which is needed underneath the machine for second floor installation). Access to open the hatch and turn the drain on the filter is very restricted. Poor design!
