Junk. DO NOT PURCHASE

Bought 13 rolls of these lights last year, within one week of putting them up last year two rolls quit working. This year not one single roll worked properly, half the bulbs on every single roll were out. Spent two hours replacing bad bulbs, most of which had broken leads on led bulb itself. After spending that much time repairing only four rolls, I'm done they are all going in the trash. P.S. This is my first Ever review.

Definitely not warm white

The one time we didn’t read reviews…these are not warm white AT ALL. Not even a little. Would be 0 stars if that was an option. Returning tomorrow.

The color is not warm white

The color is like a dim white, almost like they are about to turn off - definitely not warm white. Avoid these.

Beautiful when they work

Bought these last year. They looked great last season. Just put them up this season and an entire strand is out. They were stored indoors all year. The fuse is good and the bulbs are secure. Don't buy them if you are looking for reusable lights.

Do Not Buy

I have been dealing with problematic lights for 9 years. I thought GE was a name to trust but apparently it is not. Every year my lights go out and I have to purchase new ones. This year, everything was tested and working when I put them up. When I turned them on, a set was out. My guess is the cheap design. The sockets have no bottoms and the bulbs have long tails that go through the socket. That is where water gets in to destroy the bulbs. I've contacted GE about things like replacemen...

Cheap junk

Every year, 1/3 to 1/2 of the strands die coiled up in the basement, even lost the spare pair we never used last year. Their support is terrible and GE asks you to ship them out to service. I'm not paying as much as the lights cost in shipping just to have a chance they'll fix them.

No Good

This was a huge disappointment. Spent 3 hours installing this product on the roof line. Went to plug it in before dusk and no light was showing through the bulbs. I tested the circuit for power and all was good. once the sun bean to set you could see a little light. once it was dark I realized the lights where working but they are so dim they barely show and the color is not warm white as advertised. Not Warm White

Purchased these last year and just opened them to use this year and they are definitely not warm white! They are cool white. I have 5 rolls and can’t use any of them.

Looked fabulous - until they died the same year

Loved these lights. Loved how they looked, loved the purple. Had them up 1 year, they died the next year. Tried to return them (since they were guaranteed) - way too difficult. Put up the 2nd strand I bought- they are dead this year. So sad... I would have thought a GE product would last longer than 1 year.

Worthless warranty

Bought a couple of these c6 strands last year for the roof line. Carefully rolled them on the reel they came on at the end of the season. One of the 2 strands is done. Thought I would be able to take care of it because I spent more on the GE brand lights with 5year warranty. It’s worthless though because you have to pay to mail them Connecticut. After shipping costs and the time it takes to get the new strand what would the point be. Also the warranty lists reasons they won’t refund, so there is...

Warm White?

Almost 900$ spent on Christmas Lights and 1000$ to have them installed on home, just to walk outside at dark and see that they are the WRONG COLOR!!! These are NOT warm white, DO NOT PURCHASE THESE if you are looking to seek the look of warm white, these are hideous looking!

Trust reviews - do NOT buy!

Trust every review you read! These are a disappointment! Zero stars should be an option. Didn’t last one season. I bought 12 boxes and 2 are left working - per the GE warranty I mailed back to St Nicks Fix with my Lowe’s receipt. Hoping for reimbursement as I will need all new lights this year. Disappointing.

Great for the first year but then strands start to only work 1/2 way or not at all. The shelf life must be less than 12 mths for storing them after use. Fuse replacement doesn't help. I purchased 10 strands (over $300) in 2022 and this is my tree in 2024 and because of the bulb being diamond cut, I have to redo all the bulbs. I WILL NOT GET THESE AGAIN!

Warm white was supposed to be to color. It’s bright white.

These do not match warm white lights. They are cool white. Wasted a lot if time putting these on house to take them right back down. Nothing looks worse than a mix of warm and cool white lights. They don't even match other ge warm led bulbs in different sizes

Died after 1 year

Bought 2 strands of these for my roofline and 6 strands of the same brand mini-lights for my bushes. 3 of the mini light strands don't work at all, and 1 of the 2 of these strands don't work. Fuses are fine, no bulbs missing. Were stored in my attic carefully coiled and safely in a large box. All strands are the same issue... internal break in the wires somewhere along the strand. If you flex them you can get them to flicker on and off when you get near the break. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
