This year when we went to put these lights out half the string wasn't working, the spool said it came with spare parts but we couldn't seem to find them, couldn't find reasonable replacement bulbs and since half the string was out it would have been rather a lot of trouble to try to figure out which bulbs were the issue...

Disposable lights

For the money you pay, these should last more than one season. For the last three years i have used these, and each year I have had to buy all new lights because when they are taken down and brought back out the following year none of them work.

Junk

I purchased 8 strings of these lights to run along my fence around my yard. Over half of the strings have already failed. Two Christmas seasons of having them on for a few hours for one month. Either the entire string stopped working (and it is NOT a blown fuse) or it comes on so dimly it's hard to tell that the lights are even on.

Only worked 1 season (1 month)

Bought this product along with the smaller bulb strand and the net lights and stored in a cool/dry storage container. Half of our lights won’t work this year. Have replaced bulbs and fuses and nothing. Crap product for an expensive price!!! So disappointed.

REGRET BUYING THESE LIGHTS

These lights are not a warm tone, but instead a white light. I reached out to the company GE Nicolas Holiday and their response was “As long as the product are within the approved Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) which is WW - 3500CT or less, the product is still considered as Warm White.” I am extremely disappointed and feel it is unethical for a company to misrepresent a product on the market. Spare yourself. Won’t last. Hard to troubleshoot

Spare yourself. Looked great year 1, but didn’t work year 2 for two of the three strands I bought. The other strand worked but had more out than spares available between the three sets. The LED contacts are easily damaged when removing the bulbs, so you’ll likely damage them when removing to troubleshoot. Water gets in to the sockets. Replacement bulbs are not worth it. Time spent troubleshooting isn’t worth it. The warranty is useless since you have to pay to ship the lights to get repaired or ...

not for exterior

Same story as a lot of the reviews on here. Used them the first year, no issues. Next year, several bults were out, while replacing I realized that the connectors had broken off or were corroded but got it working again. This year, over half of the bults did not work. One string did not work at all even after replacing fuses. Conclusion, they are made very cheaply and are not good for exterior. Do not recommend, do not waste your money.

***Warning These are not Warm White ***

I bought these for the house, and "GE 7mm LED diamond cut Christmas string lights" to wrap the trees. Not only do these C9's not come close to my existing warm white led decorations, but they don't match each other. They are 1000k apart. Using my android phone in the dark, these come up as 4000k while the small 7mm lights come up as 3000k. You really need to check them in the dark, and sadly I installed them with the sun up. Waste of money and warranty center is garbage

We spent $400 total on these lights. Didn’t even make it through the first Christmas. Warrantied 5/7 lights, which didn’t come in until after Christmas. The next year, we go to put up the brand new lights we received and they don’t work either. Called again to start another warranty claim and they won’t exchange them or help us in any way. These are NOT warm white!

We bought these lights for the outline of our roof to replace the ones we previously had. All of the icicle lights we hang from our garage and decorate the lower half of our house with are warm white- when testing these in store they appeared to be warmer than the other c-9 bulbs. We hired someone to hang them for us and were so disappointed when it got dark out and realized they are NOT warm and did not match the rest of our house. total crap

have three stands just bought two and have one was from last year. The one from last year doesn't work, of the two we just bought 1 doesn't work and the other one has 10 bad bulbs. Even though the fuses are ok. Total crap.

Do not buy

Lights only worked for 1 holiday season. Year 2 went to hang them up again and an entire strand was out. Tried everything without success. Spoke to a professional lighting company who said they would always avoid this type of light. Customer service from the company has not been timely in response or helpful.
