Not Reliable

I purchased 3 sets 3 years ago and went to plug them in this year and two sets wouldn't turn on at all and one set is only half lit. I tried changing the fuse, but they still don't work. Disappointed they didn't even last 3 seasons. My store brand lights lasted longer than this. Thought I would pay a little more for GE lights, but not worth it.

Avoid these lights

We bought these lights several years ago and have had nothing but hassle when it comes to setting them up. For some reason they work when we store them, then don’t work the next year. Have been swapping out bulbs and buying more strands year after year. Just pulled them out this year and guess what?!?! 1 out of 4 strands work. All done!

Not warm white, cheap clips

Super displeased with these. These are not warm white at all. They are cool white, even though the package says warm white. How does this get messed up...spent half day hanging lights to realize not the right color. Also the clips to hook on gutter are cheap and break easily. Awful lights.

I would give these a zero star rating but that's not possible. Nothing says Happy Holidays like buying 8 sets of these and only two work the next year. Might as well just burn your house down as that might twinkle a little longer then these.

Do not purchase

We purchased two sets in 2022 and one set in 2023 and now none of them work. Called customer service, was on with them for over 35 minutes and not sure if we will get a resolution, customer service rep was polite, but unable to understand due to language barrier. I would not recomend this product.

3 Dead Sets - Return Yours asap

These are a joke. More dead bulbs in a month than they even supply as replacement. Three sets dead in one year but the warrant makes you pay to ship them all somewhere and wait 6 weeks. Doubtful Lowes will honor this when it’s past the return date. Return yours after Christmas if you bought them. They’ll be dead next year when you pull them out of the attic.

Color should be called "Daylight"

The color should be called "Daylight," as its color temperature is nearly 5000K. GE is misleading by labeling it as "Warm White."

Bad Choice

Bought 2 in 2023 and lasted only 1 season.

These do not last more than one season if you live in a wet outdoor climate. I live in NE Ohio. I spent hundreds of dollars throwing away these sets and buying new ones every single year. One year I had had enough and started investigating my sets. Yes, the LED bulbs will last forever, but the cheap wire corrodes away from the light bulb when exposed to water. Horrible product for outdoors.

Horrible

Bought 3 of these and they worked last year. Went to put them up for 2024 and none of them work. Fuses are fine, no loose or burnt bulbs and all the wiring is good. Absolutely crap that they didn’t last a full year and my local Lowe’s said it’s not their problem. Absolutely horrible.

Last less then a year!

We purchased 6 sets of the GE 100-count Energy Smart Warm White LED Diamond Cut C9 Christmas Lights and have had them for one year. We stored properly and 3 of the 6 sets no longer work. We purchased replacement bulbs and switched everyone out to no avail. We also checked the fuses with a continuity tester and lights would still not work. Not only did we waste hours of our time we still do not have working lights! Extremely disappointing!

Terrible Design

I purchased several strands in November 2023, but guess what?? it's November 2024, they do not work or have several lights out. I spent a few hundred bucks on these lights that have alot of corrosion inside the bulb sockets from rain water entering through the underside of the light sockets where the wires enter. Horrible design as all my other name brand lights have been sealed in that same spot. What happened to GE?! First their appliances, now something as simple as a strand of Christmas...

Might be what you want but it wasn’t what I wanted

It claims it is “warm white” but it was not in my opinion.

Stopped working after one month!

I purchased 4 sets of lights on 11-5-23. Installed them one week later. One complete string stopped working before Christmas. Because we live in a two story house and had it professionally hung, we left them up there until the end of the season. I have inspected each light, and nothing seems broken. I have changed the fused. It still doesn’t work. DO NOT RECOMMEND as I would have to pay to ship it to have them fix or replace it.

Terrible, don’t last

Bought a bunch of these in 2020, most lasted 1 season, then in 2021 I had to replace 2 sets. In 2022 again I replaced 2 or 3 sets. In 2023 they were all dead. Not worth it. Each year they were stored properly so it definitely wasn’t something on my end.

This is the 2nd set of these lights I bought.

Very happy the way the lights have a holder to store the lights when not in use.

Lowe’s charges too much as usual!

Too Expensive! These sets burn out after 1-2 seasons, the wires rust out!
