Washes great when its working

Dishwasher is amazing , e tremelybquiet lots of features butbhave had to have it repaired twice in lease than 10 months for the control board going out...ifnyou but make sure to get the extended warranty

Minor hiccup prevents a five star review

Wanted to give it a five. But less than a week after install the handle, which is plastic shattered on one side and fell off. GE customer sent me a new one, no questions asked. Hopefully that’s the extent of my issues. It’s super quiet and cleans well, most importantly.

Could be better

Con: 1) Controls are too sensitive... too easy to accidently start the dishwasher. 2) Locking mechanism makes it very hard to close and open... I think this is a drsign flaw, just wsiying for a repair call Pro: 1) Relatively quiet during running 2) Cleans well... Top rack is a nice feature

Good item so far. We hope it lasts.

The product works as intended. I always find it interesting that every other appliance comes hard wired but DW are not. The store did not stock the item and delivery took a day longer than usual. The item is supposed to have an app interface but it doesn’t want to connect. But I don’t really need an app to control it.

Cleans great but doesn’t dry dishes

Dishwasher seems to do great job cleaning dishes. However it doesn’t dry dishes. Tried to schedule service but I guess they have holiday hours and no response.

Great dishwasher gets hot. You can even make pot roast inside. I would avoid teriyaki, though, because it tainted the dishes with the smell after.

GE DW

Nice looking, replaced older model exactly same from 11 years ago. Installed easily. Do get the insulation kit, it’s extremely noisy without it, luckily I saved the one from old machine . The hose and plug kit they sell for $30 bucks also needs a coupler not included. $5 at HD. Washed 1st load dishes clean but definitely noticed overall decline in quality in racks. Timer says 3 hours not impressed. Maybe I missed settings in reading directions. Hoping it lasts 11 years also.

Constant phantom control input issues

Every 1-2 months the dishwasher has phantom inputs where it random cycles inputs which changes wash settings and can even start a cycle on its own. Under warranty we've had the main board, control board, wire harness, and outer door replaced and like clock work the issues persists. Talking to the repair tech, the controls issue doesn't sound that rare. But replacing the parts resolves it. Sadly this isn't the case for my unit.
