When this switch works it is spectacular, and when it fails it fails spectacularly. I worked an hour last night and couldn't get the plug working. My plan was to start the setup today at a time I could call GE support. it took one minute to setup the plug. It works great.

Some work, sometimes
Would Not RecommendI've been using cync products for a few years. The bulbs mostly work, most of the time. The plugs, not so much. 2 of 5 plugs I have are great. 2 are glitchy and only work sometimes. The last one I bought lasted a day, but wouldn't run a schedule and then died entirely. Conclusion: Because of its roulette nature, I kinda hate this product. Came looking for an alternative. I recommend doing the same.

Junk! Will not connect

Terrible with Google Home
Would Not RecommendConstantly disconnects when controlled by Google Home. In order to SORT OF work you have to use the GE cync app and connect that through Google Home. Nothing but a pain in the neck. Buy another brand.

Would RecommendTried multiple times (6+) to set up. Never worked. The blinking blue light mode shut off every time just as you navigate to the next page of set up guide so by that time the device could never connect.

Would Not RecommendThis plug works great when it can stay connected to our router. Unfortunately that seems to be random throughout the day. This plug is located within 15 feet of our router so it should stay connected all the time, but that is not the case. GE needs to refine this outlet more before I can recommend it. It's just not reliable enough.

Timing feature doesn't work
Would Not RecommendSet up the timer function on the unit and while it does turn off at the scheduled time, it doesn't turn back on when scheduled. It also loses connection a lot, leaving it pretty useless. Always have to press the side button to turn it on. May as well not have it. Disappointing.
