Simple to install

Appear to assist in filtering our water to the fridge.

After purchasing from an knock off that wouldn't allow water to flow properly I went back to the Original GE appliance online as soon as I popped it in the water gushed through you get what you pay for

Works well

I’ve been using these filters for years without an issue. Other than the price. I tried a cheaper generic but that didn’t work.

Horrible

It has extremely restricted flow. Hardly more than a trickle. I put the old one back in and it’s just fine.

Refrigerator Water Filters

Not enuf information, references, nor knowledgeable employees. Selection very limited. Tried one that ‘appeared’ correct, ended up returning it and researching online with Brand, model number and serial number of filter. Had to wait to receive product that I hoped to buy locally.

Filters out the bad stuff

I have been using this filters since purchasing the refrigerator 7 years ago. The water is always fresh and I trust it is purified

Easy installation and no problems

Super easy to remove the old filter and install the new one. Water tastes great, the water pressure is better too. Though it was a bit more expensive than other retailers, I highly recommend paying the extra money since you know you are getting quality.

The GE - MSWF water filter is easy to install and provides excellent filtered water for my household. I use the water for all of my cooking and to fill my dog's water dish every morning or whenever it requires refilling. My coffee, tea, and meals have never tasted better as a result of using the filtered water from my refrigerator. I highly recommend this filter for any GE refrigerator that will accommodate it.

Can find product equivalent on Amazon. What you pay for one you can buy 3 on Amazon.

Factory replacement part

Except for online, this part is hard to find locally, I'm glad to see Lowe's stock it and it an exact replacement.
