MSWF Water Filter (Problem and Fix)

For the first time I did have a problem with the water filter and GE replaced very fast.

I have been buying GE replacement water filters for over ten years. They arrive very quickly by mail and are easy to install. Excellent install instructions for the first time installation or if you forget how to install it.

Now hat I replaced the filter, the water no longer comes out of the water spout of the refrigerator!!!! WHY???????? Is the NEW filter faulty?

Good filter, but VERY expensive

It's a good filter and a must have, but the cost is outrageous!! Maybe putting a house filtering system is the answer. If you have a GE refrigerator you don't have a choice.

This water filter really helps to make the water taste better. When you drink a lot of water, you need it to taste good. Once the filter light comes on, it is great to already have the replacement filter in the house and ready to change out.

We have had this product for the past 8 years with no problems ever!

Water flow to dispenser is restored.

I had not replaced the water filter in quite a while. The pressure is back on the water dispenser.

This water filter is perfect. The water always taste good even down to the end when it gets time to change it. If I could change anything I just wish they were a bit cheaper.

Works extremely well! we have a tendency to have discolored water in our area but the filter takes care of it.

Update information sheet

I just ordered MSWF filters and noticed the instructions refer to an adaptor to be removed prior to installation. There is no adaptor on this model. Please update your literature.
