Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Installation was easy, thanks to the provided mounting templates and instructions. Capacity is quite large. Controls easy to understand with plenty of added features. Plus the look matches our other GE appliances. Performance is plenty strong with 1000 watts of power.

Good replacement

Nice microwave needs back light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This needs a backlight for the control dial. I am sure I am not the only one who thinks so. This was a major complaint when I bought the one this replaced. Do you have any women designing these things? When I went to buy peel on dots ( for the poorly sighted) the first three comments was they needed it for the microwave! What does that tell us?

Poor quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave worked for five days. It’s truly unbelievable the poor quality of this item. I thought an LG microwave that only lasted fourteen months was poor. Five days? Ridiculous!

Didn’t last a week

The GE MICROWAVE IS A GOOD LOOKING UNIT .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel is ok but a bit confusing per the placement of buttons. The touch pressure is not very sensitive so a firm pressure is needed. The unit is very nice looking and I like the handle rather than a push open button. When running the unit is very quiet. This unit has only two speeds high and low for the exhaust fan. The under lighting seems adequate. Replacing an older microwave with the new GE was fairly simple. . I ...

Do not try to Sneak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have GE appliances in my home and just ordered this Microwave and had it installed. Have not used it fully, however just opening and closing the microwave is SO LOUD. For only this reason, I would not buy this microwave

AWFUL Microwave, Dimensions ARE NOT ACCURATE

I was told this was the same dimensions as my existing JVM6175EF1ES, it was not and installers repeatedly tried to make adjustments so the new model would fit but because it was actually a different size, contrary to what the GE sales rep told me, it didn't work and now I'm not even sure if I will be refunded the product amount and install amount.

less than great

Every time I turn on microwave the vent starts up, even when the stove is off and is cold. Vent is noisy and annoying

Poor door design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my microwave, but just realized the door is broke. The design is poor, it is cracked from pulling on the handle to open it. There isn't any other way to open it so its definitely a design flaw. I haven't even had the microwave 3 years. Very disappointed 😞
