Easy installation and good instructions

I'm not very "handy" so I was surprised how easy the disposal was to install with no leaks the first time and no silicone! The wiring instructions were so simple even I got it right. Although I did ask advice from an electrician friend because I was wiring it to a switch. Everything went smoothly and it works like a champ!

Great Device and easy to install

This is a replacement for a GE 1/3 hp disposal which broke a blade loose after 12 years. It was a very durable disposal and I assume that this one will also be as good. It was very easy to install and had good directions. Happy I bought it.

Good value & easy installation as a replacement.

I just installed this new unit to replace the previous matching model that gave good service for eleven years. The "easy install" system did indeed make the replacement easy. I was glad to find the same model still available! It is a little noisy when grinding, but aren't they all? I find it a good value for the modest price!

Works great ans quiet enough

Bought in October to replace a 1/3hp model that lasted 13 years. The 1/2hp mounted exactly in place without issues and works great.

Garbage Disposal

We bought this and put it in today. So far looks great and sounds great!!

You get what you paid for

I purchased this disposer to replace the same model that was only three years old. One of the blades came off because the rotating disk on which the blade was mounted was rusted out. I did not upgrade to a higher quality disposer because I didn't want to reroute the pluming. Want make that mistake again!!

Grinds food but Water backs up into the sink!

This product was put into a new home we built. We have been very disappointed in it's design. Water does not go down easily through the rubber gasket in the sink. It often backs up even when there is no food in the disposal. We often have to push back the rubber slits to drain the water in the sink. Simply not a great design. We have owned many GE products over the years and have liked all of them. The garbage disposal however is not one I would recommend. Sorry!
