Fits great, works great!

Replaced my old one that was virtually identical to this one. The previous version lasted 15 years and I hope this one does as well. They looked identical. The model number was off by one letter, but that’s just because they don’t make that exact model anymore. Love this one so far. It operates just like the old one so far.

May not have been the perfect choice

I liked the size and the HP [matched my previous disposal unit], but my 'professional' plumber (40+ years experience) had countless problems trying to install [mount] this particular unit. He could not understand why he was having such a hard time...once he finished, my disposal sounds 'sick'...just 'not right'

Quiet but thorough

Works as it should Quiet Completely shreds and disposes of all food waste

Convenient, easy to install and small

I like this product a lot. We have limited space under the sink, and the little we use a disposal - we don't need much. My only complaint is that it's hard to find this product at retail anymore. I had to order online.

Only had couple days but 100% quieter than old model and does not vibrate items into the sink.

Good but Wanting

I found the model (GFC520V) recommended on line. As it is a newer model I thought it would be quieter than my old model (GFC520F). After installation I did not notice it any quieter than the old one. Chops food well, as the old one did too. I had hoped from some improvement over old one and was disappointed there. But it does do the job as well as the old one did. So I guess I can't complain.

Easy install

I bought this one because I was swapping it out for the same model that started to fail after 5 years of hard use. Easy install.

Powerful unit, works well. Was installed in my house by the builder.

Replaced one just like it

This was the disposal model that came with our house but, after ten years of raising boys and all the stuff they try to shove down the drain, it wore out. I was very please with the way the last one worked and wanted to keep the same model.

Installation

Easy installation, replacing an older model and this is the current replacement.
