Easy to install

I am replacing my old GE Disposal, and it was a quick and easy job, very quiet and works greaty

Just installed. Seems to be ok. More later. Not really tested with food waste yet.

Very satisfied with my first purchase. Same model just newer model. Son-in-law said it was very easy replacement.

Replaced similar model GFC520 from GE

Because this model matched my previous model, the install went smoothly, except for the electric code. I should have purchased the same model with the cord attached. Fortunately, I was able to remove the old cord and attach it to the new model. But, if I had purchased the model with the cord, I would have finished the job in less than 1/2 hour. So, buy the same model with the cord attached. It will save you a lot of time.

Relacing Original

Had good luck for 16 years with the original disposal install and even though it was still working fine I've decoded to replace a lot of the install appliances in my home.

nice disposal, easy to install, i just wish we could manufacture this stuff in the U.S., the flange that sat in the sink had a casting flaw which caused a leak, even after carefully sanding out the flaw, i still had to put plumbers putty under flange. it didn't look built as well as the 520f i installed 18 years ago.

Easy Installation

Previous model was discontinued and the replacement model was out of stock. On a whim tried this model and it worked like a charm. Installation was easy and quick.

Great Garbage Disposal

I had disposal model GFC320F for 18 years and had to replace it. I replaced it with this model (GFC520N) which is has a higher HP of 1/2 HP. It was generally easy to install and works perfectly. I'm looking forward to another 18 years with this product.

Compact and Reliable

Needed a drop-in replacement. The original one was doing fine until an accident happened that ruined it. The new one is doing a good job.

Easy to install and perfect fit

Needed to replace my dispisal - found this and was pleasantly surprised at the way to follow instructions, quick, and easy install. I spent about 30 minutes under the sink. Most of that time was unistalling the old disposal and the install was so fast and so simple.

I loved the product. But it only last 1 year. The blades was popup when i turn on the disposal.

Great product. Easy DIY project.

It was a great DIY project!! Was easy and well guided. The diaposer works smoothly and efficiently. I literally had to spend more time to remove my old unit (from another brand) than installing the new unit. The product looks smaller than my old unit. But this unit is way more smooth and powerful in operation.

Light weight and comes with everything to complete the job. Got 12 years of good use from the last one!

Easy install!

I upgraded my 1/3 hp garbage disposal to a 1/2 hp model. As they were both made by GE, the old one plugged right in! A little research on the wiring chart and I put in my very first garbage disposal in about an hour (learning as I went and working in a little tight space).
