I've gone through 2 of these in almost 8 years! We've lived in our house for 7 1/2 years. The first one was installed by the builder and lasted about 3 years until the motor died. I replaced with the same model because it was the easiest option to reinstall. This one lasted until last week when the blades jammed and sheared off the center bolt they spin around! Easily installed
Would RecommendIt was easy to install. It was my first time installing a garbage disposal. The rubber gasket was a little difficult but I did it. It recently froze up but I hit the reset button on the side and it's working again. Thanks

Would Not RecommendHad this installed in our new home with septic system. Very light use perhaps once every couple of weeks for 2-3 people. When it runs its seems efficient and quiet, however it has frozen up twice within the past year. First time we couldn’t get the motor to turn using recommended methods and reviewed some YouTube videos.
