What Customers Are Saying
The 2x2x8 furring strips are a mixed bag in terms of quality. While some customers found the boards to be straight and of good quality, especially when hand-selecting them in the store, many reported inconsistent quality, with a significant portion being warped, twisted, or unusable. The price was generally seen as reasonable, but the quality seems to have declined over time, with more lower-grade lumber being sold. Customers advise thoroughly inspecting the boards before purchase and being prepared to return any unusable pieces, as the experience can vary significantly by location and individual batch.

Exactly what I needed for my project
Solid choice for DIY butcher block countertop
Would RecommendI picked out 8 ft furring strips for my DIY butcher block countertop project. After gluing, sanding, and staining, the final result looks great. I saved several $$$ compared to a premade countertop.
It’s wood.
Would RecommendCheap project wood. Not good, not terrible.
Used for stakes
Would RecommendGood for stakes
Probably should pick them out yourself
Would Not RecommendWas not straight.
Inspect before getting them loaded
Received all bent and curved boards through curbside

Gems from the scrap pile
Would RecommendI purchased 2x2x8 for building shelving support in my patio closet. The lumber was from the scrap pile. This by no way indicated that the lumber was inferior in quality. A couple of small blemishes were not significant enough and I used 90% of the board. I have found many bargains for my projects and at great value.
Lumber
Nicer than the big Orange box store and same price.
Non treated
So the wood is good but I had them delivered and if you don’t pick out your own you can get ones with excessive knots, twists, etc. if I would pick my own I would have probably given 5 stars.
