What Customers Are Saying
The 2x2x8 furring strips are a mixed bag in terms of quality. While some customers found the boards to be straight and of good quality, especially when hand-selecting them in the store, many reported inconsistent quality, with a significant portion being warped, twisted, or unusable. The price was generally seen as reasonable, but the quality seems to have declined over time, with more lower-grade lumber being sold. Customers advise thoroughly inspecting the boards before purchase and being prepared to return any unusable pieces, as the experience can vary significantly by location and individual batch.

Excellent piece of wood
Would RecommendI needed some type of pole or stick to use inside of a tall vase. This was perfect! We had Lowe’s cut it in half and it’s exactly what I needed. Great service
Most of them not straight.
Would Not RecommendMost of them are not straight .
Light and straight
Would RecommendBest thing is how straight these are. They are slimmer compared to regular 2x2’s and easier to crack when using screws so pre-drilling is necessary. They are also lighter weight.
I love loews selections.
Good
Poor quality 2x2
Would Not RecommendMajority were very poor quality ( crooked, broken, cracked) and hard to find since other wood was mixed in.
