What Customers Are Saying
The 2x2x8 furring strips are a mixed bag in terms of quality. While some customers found the boards to be straight and of good quality, especially when hand-selecting them in the store, many reported inconsistent quality, with a significant portion being warped, twisted, or unusable. The price was generally seen as reasonable, but the quality seems to have declined over time, with more lower-grade lumber being sold. Customers advise thoroughly inspecting the boards before purchase and being prepared to return any unusable pieces, as the experience can vary significantly by location and individual batch.

Lowe's Will Sell Anything
Would Not RecommendHaving to dig through piles of bad boards nobody else has wanted for months and monts and months is a bad practice. Lowe's should have a 2nd AND 3rd discount level to provide better stock to their customers. Right now it is only two: "Here it is, deal with it" OR "This is soooo bad, 70% off might not be worth it" categories.
