Still Leaked

My toilet started leaking so I bought one of these after other attempts to stop the leak failed. The valve body to tank seal leaked after installation, so I replaced it with a standard one I had on hand from previous attempts to resolve the leak and that fixed that problem. I won't deny it could have been an installer error however. After replacing getting it all installed it would still leak. DIY Made Easy

The Fluidmaster have greater and better selections than other brands. I'm not a professional, but a diy person and Fluidmaster made my job easier with their product. I like shopping at Lowe's because of the wider selection of Fluidmasters.

Easy to install but it leaks, not as bad as the old original one

It was a replacement for existing unt, took appx 20 minute's to remove old and installed the new unit. Works great easily replaced.

The kit works--sort of--and is easy to install thanks to the included tool. But a couple of issues: First, I wish this kit included more nuts and washers to attach the tank to the bowl like the Fluidmaster Universal Fit Toilet Repair Kit (Model #6106). This would be nice to have but isn't critical. What is missing and is critical is the clip for the overflow pipe. Without it, the toilet will continue to ghost flush. The old pipe didn't have one and I didn't need all the items in the kit that doe...

Great kit

This toilet tank repair kit had all the parts required to fix my leaking tank and of good quality. The toilet was in service since I installed it 23 years ago. The original tank bolts severely rusted and started leaking. The kit contained stainless steel bolts and an upgrade flush valve. With the new parts it should last until I’m 100 years old and then I’ll get a new one.
