Amazing quality, I've been easily able to chop anything I could fit. They are a little tough to get to tight places.

Serious tool

While I'm a long time fan and user of Corona hand tools, I found this Fiskars lopper very sturdy.

Heavy-duty loppers

These loppers cut through branches nearly two inches in diameter with ease. My pruning problems are solved without resorting to a chainsaw!

Okay for smaller trimming

I did not find this as easy to trim branches from plants as it states. I didn't even try to do small tree branches, once I had trouble doing thick plant branches. It was a little heavy when you extend your arms to trim. I had trouble controlling the opening and closing when reaching under plants. I found my regular pruners easier.

Fiskars best geared loppers - Disappointing

Was happy to find these Fiskars model 398543-1001 loppers; they looked "awesome" and appeared to be while the others had Delrin plastic gears, and these also had better 'tacky' durable black rubber grips while the others had slippery hard orange plastic grips; I think these also stated they could cut a 1/2-inch larger diameter branch than the others... So I bought a two of these. UNFORTUNATELY, while cutting a live Oak branch that was of a size well within the rating of the loppers -- but which ...

Have only used a few times so far and I am very pleased with the results. I cut some pretty serious branches with very little effort.

fiskar lopps

I have used fiskar lopps for years and have found them to be durable, and of good quality. I have not found any better to date. I have a lot of trees etc that always needs trimming and my first choice is to use the fiskar lopps of any length and the price for the quality while not cheap is reasonable.

This works fantastic for a good days work. Unfortunately the blade chipped before the day was done.

This is so easy to use, I have little strength in my arms and this does all the work. I have gotten so much accomplished using this. Very Happy with it and I got it on sale

I use this tool to cut lengths of 1.5" polypropylene rope, together with screw hose clamps to get a nice, clean cut end.

Very Good BUT Very Heavy

If you need to cut large - up to 2 inches - buy this lopper. It easily cuts through the hardest of tree limbs and trunks. However, beware that it is heavy and difficult to use in tight spaces. To open the jaws, the arms must be fully extended - a distance of almost 24 inches between grips. By a smaller lopper for use around the house.

BYPASS LOPPER

Great for cutting smallbranches on srubs.I was able to get the leverage I needed to cut all branches.It is just the tool I needed to do the job.

Works Excellent

Wish I had this cutter years ago, easy to work with, the gear makes it easy to cut.

Excellent Loppers

This lopper works great. It cuts branches cleanly and effortlessly. The power gear function makes it easier to cut due to the leverage provided. I highly recommend.
