Boy Scout Tested and Approved

Would Recommend

I bought these for an Eagle Scout project which involved cutting down honeysuckle all day. After two different set of lopers broke I ran out and bought two of these. They did the job quickly and efficiently. The boys wished we had them when we started. Highly recommend these for the ease of use and quality of product.

Best purchase ever

Would Recommend

It cut with ease, I'm satisfied with the functionality of this lopper. I hope the blade will last longer. I only used it for 3 hrs cutting and pruning the branches of my bushes. The handle of this lopper feels solid, I was watching the YouTube video about the review of this lopper, the handle came off. I hope mine will last longer.

Very easy to use lopper

Would Recommend

I used the lopper only for one day. So far I am very happy. I do not know how sturdy it is and how long it will maintain its sharpness. I am happy with my purchase now.

so stiff to open and close ,It wore me out!

Would Not Recommend

so stiff to open and close ,It wore me out! It does have good leverage, but I wasn't looking for a workout when pruning. Then the blade is too thin and a chuck broke out after only 45 min of use. I was being careful in what I was doing. I couldn't believe it. Returned it right away. And picked out a different lopper.

Cuts through stuff like butter

Would Recommend

I had a bunch of shrubs, brush and branches I had trimmed in my back yard. I needed to cut it down to a manageable size for my fire pit to burn it. I spent several hours trimming it down to size with these and man they are awesome. They cut through everything I threw at them like a knife through warm butter. I was actually shocked at how little effort it took to cut through the branches. I even opened them as far as they would go to see how big a branch I could cut. I would have to say I exceede...

The best choice for removing small tree limbs

Would Recommend

I used this to remove tree limbs which were anywhere from 1 to 3.5 inches in diameter. It also came in handy for cutting a tall tree into smaller sections for disposal. Very easy to use and it reduced the amount of time needed to complete the project.

Even the kids can use this safely

Would Recommend

I lost a lot of tree limbs and branches in our latest ice storm. Guys with chain saws cut them from the trees but left me 4 huge piles of pine branches to get cut, bundled, and put out on the curb for our recycling trucks. This made quick work of cutting branches the size of my lower forearm. It required very little elbow-grease to work, and even my 8-year-old can use them efficiently. The gear makes all the difference. The price is very reasonable; this tool cuts back on a lot of work that I wo...

I use this to prun my palm tree. Before I used a prun which then I would alway get cought by there thorns. Now with the reach I have with this it's perfect. No need for much force either. I'm glad I purchased these.

Fiskars is usually good quality

Would Not Recommend

I cut three branches when the pivot bolt head sheared off. Cheap white metal of the bolt it appeared. Also, and this is more an observation - a geared trimmer like this requires a lot of space to fully open the jaws to get larger branches in - not easy in tight spaces. I returned the broken Fiskars and bought another brand, assembled in Mexico with USA parts. Works great.

Super sharp and cuts easy!

Would Recommend

I accidentally ruined my mothers pair from Harbor Freight. It said 1/2" max, NOPE! I gave her my other Fiskers as a replacement. I bought these as I then found myself with out a set. This set is bigger than the previous ones. This set is awesome! I cuts anything I through at it. Plus it will cut bigger stuff and is easier to close. Worth every penny. Don't waste your time with any other brand or model. Get this one!

Works like a champ

Would Recommend

Very surprised how easy cutting my small trees back where with this tool. I probably had a few branches over 2" and it cut through everything like butter, without excessive effort on my part. This tool is incredibly easy to use, just open it around your branch and clamp. It's that easy. May not be as easy next year after the blade has dulled some, but out of the bag, this thing works like a champ.

Clean cuts but a little awkward to use

Would Recommend

The quality of these loppers are very good, but it would be nice to have a little more weight towards the handle grips, making them a little less top-heavy. They seem to feel a little top-heavy at the cutting blade, making them feel awkward when working at shoulder level or lower. The advertised 2" cut is a conservative number, as an extra quarter-inch cut causes no issue. Hopefully, the handles will maintain their strength so I don't have these twisted in a pretzel like my loppers from Corona! ...

Fiskers Compound Lopper

Would Recommend

This product cuts well, sharp. The only drawback is that the shape of the blade does not allow for cutting in tighter spots or hard to reach areas. The handles must be opened up quite a bit to allow branch insertion thus limiting the reach and needing more space around you.
