What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this tool for cutting branches up to 1.5 inches with minimal effort and reaching high limbs effortlessly. The hooked blade prevents slippage during extended reaches, while the chain-driven pruner mechanism handles overhead work without ladders. Reviewers highlight the telescoping fiberglass pole with positive locking, lightweight yet sturdy oval design, and fully assembled convenience. Many express confidence in its durability and long-term value compared to cheaper alternatives. A few report chain-mechanism or blade issues, though most still consider it superior to other options.

Does the job
Would RecommendReasonable performance expectations are useful for shoppers. Here's what I found after a session with this product in hardwoods. For these species the upper limit of living stick diameter for the lopper is less than 1 inch. Larger diameters might fit in the slot and work on paper but what happens is the lopper blade gets stuck. On the other hand, the saw blade is very aggressive and cut through 3 inch oak (reasonably stabilized) amazingly quickly at a distance of about 10 ft. Tool construction i...

We're so happy to hear you're enjoying your 16-Foot Extendable Pole Pruner with Chain Drive, Steel Blade, and WoodZig Saw, Megatron! Thanks ...

I now own several of these and have discarded the other ones of different brands. The extendable feature is far superior and the shearing blade cuts really well. Fantastic for preparing tree stands.

Doesn't work very well
Would Not RecommendUnless you are just planning to do very small limbs with this saw, it does not work very well. It is very difficult to use, and ours fell apart while trying to use it. We couldn't figure out how to put it back together so we threw it away. We kept the long pole for grabbing out dogs frisbee when it gets stuck on the roof. LOL!

Terrible saw blade
Would Not RecommendPicked this up to trim tree branches. The saw is less than good. It gets stuck on the pull. Pole is great but the blade has to be changed!!

No replacement saw blade available
Would Not RecommendI like the pole and features but am unable to get a replacement saw blade anywhere, including on Fiskars site. Need to buy a whole new tool to replace the blade that has worn out.

Hi! Looks like the replacement blade is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/FISKARS-BLADE-REPLMNT-WOODZIG-15IN/dp/B07XLRKP52/ref=sr_1_32?crid...
Pole Saw Replacement
The string/chain cutting mechanism on my 1st pole-pruner broke. Bought them at BJs. The aluminum extension pole on my 2nd pole-pruner broke so I bought this pole saw/pruner combo. The pruner is only good for smaller 2” branches. The pole saw worked pretty well.
